Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday night. I have one word for you THIF (thank Heaven it's Friday) tomorrow.... I can't remember a week when I have so looked forward to the weekend. :-)
Tonight I have the pleasure of showcasing Beth's cards. Beth is another person who has supported everyone of our OWH card drives. Beth has a clean style and provided cards that ranged from sophisticated to fun to whimsical. A great mix of chidlren and adult cards. It was tough to choose one to showcase, but in the end I went with this fabulous card. I just couldn't resist it..... the background embossed layer and the sentiment made me smile - and the color scheme was gorgeous. Absolute yumminess. Beth. Thank you so much for supporting yet another drive. Over the last 18 months, you have made a lot of servicemen/women happy. YOU ROCK.
Don't forget to leave Beth a little comment love. I know that you will find lots of inspiration again tonight. You can find Beth's entire showcase by clicking on this link, or by clicking on the photograph below
Told you.. isn't that yummy!!!!
Thanks to all of you who continue to leave comments for our showcase. I know that the showcase gals are grateful, as am I.
On a personal note:
It was WINDY here today. Winds gusting up to 58mph and it was like that for most of the day. I came down to my stamping space at around 7.30, to find that all of the electricals were on the blink. I have no idea why it was only the basement affected, but everything was off and flashing. I heard a big bang earlier in the afternoon. Whatever it was must have affected the electricals down here. Things seem to be calming down, thank goodness. Hopefully, Lou's plane should be able to land later tonight.
It was another long day today and I must admit I did something I don't generally do. Lost my temper. Yep. I did. Not a good thing. But sometimes, one just reaches breaking point and today was it. Luckily it was for the briefest of moments, but I hate doing it. In business, when a woman raises her voice, it is always seen as a sign of weakness... yet...for me.. it's the the reverse... Well, certainly in the industry that I work in, anyway. Long days. Stressful days, finally took their toll. I really need my vacation. Lou and I are taking a couple of weeks off at the end of October. We had intended to go cruising in the Med visting Turkey and Israel. However, we decided we really, really, really, just wanted to stay home. So, we cancelled our trip and I am really looking forward to just spending two weeks at home with my honey!
I hope you all have a fabulous Friday. Hugs and prayers to all that need a little lift tonight.
