Stampin! with Jaydee

3D with Jaydee: Hershey Snowmen

Hi Everyone.

Happy Saturday.  This is going to be a quick post as my darling hubby has just returned home and, after he has had a little beauty sleep, we are going off to dinner!

I made these fabulous Hershey wrappers.  The snowman was created by the very talented Laurie Furnell and she has had this free wrapper layout on her blog every Christmas for the past few years.  A quick trip to Hancock fabrics and a rummage through the remnant table, produced this gorgeous blue and red plaid material for the "no sew" hats.  All that was left was to tie a little SU silver cord and a bell that jingles around the top of the hat and they were ready to go.

You can't tell me that these aren't just the cutest things you have ever seen?  I think they are absolutely adorable and am very grateful to Laurie for giving away this free image.  Check out Laurie's blog for the template.

Now.... as you probably heard from Cherie's comment on my last blog post...... we had snow last night.  Oh yeah!  Snow.  All our original snow had melted and none was in the forecast.  What a wonderful windfall to go upstairs last night and see that the world was looking magical again!  I noticed that Buzbee was not in the same position he had been in last night.... I also noticed the front door was slightly ajar.  mmmm... I heard little elf giggling noises.  So, I followed them.  What did I find?

Well, if that doesn't look like fun, I don't know what does!  No wonder he has such a huge grin on his face.  Cherie, I thought of Mr J when I saw Buzbee making snow-elfangels :-)  Who knows what he will be up to tonight when we have gone to bed!

3D with Jaydee - Halloween Candy - Last minute projects

Hi Everyone.

Quick post for you tonight.  I made a few last minute - VERY last minute - Halloween projects today.  I am showing you some of them tonight, and then my favorite set tomorrow.

Halloween can be scary for some little ones, so I loved this template from Laurie Furnell.  She's an amazing artist and I couldn't wait to use the template. As I am not a knitter, I had to make one change - and that was to leave the monster with no hair.  However, they did come out cute :-)

aren't they just the cutest things :-)  I'm not sure what's happening with my printer, but it seems to have a black line running through ... mmmm....   However, they are adorable.  No way, I could have created something that fabulous without Laurie's template.

Then, I decided to hop on the Mummy wagon.  Ever since I saw the SU project with the twill binding around a can, I have wanted to do something, but decided that twill tape was too expensive.  So, I spritzed up some tissue paper using my smooch spritzes, tore up the tissue paper and wrapped the individual pieces around the Hershey bar.  I punched out a couple of circles for the eyes, and here's what my dirtied up Hershey Mummy looks like.

Doesn't he look as though he's been around for a few hundred years :-)

I then decided I needed something different - and found a fabulous bat template from about.com.

So, if you are looking for a couple of last minute, easy to make projects for the kids or grand-kids, I hope you have seen something that sparks your interest.

Lou and I are enjoying our time off, but it is going by so quickly.  What with so much to do and so many decision to make - and re-make.  Yep, re-make!  Plus so many things to do around the house to winterize it.... time is going past very quickly.

I hope that my readers on the east coast have managed to survive the amazing storm that has just come through.

3D with Jaydee - Faith in Nature

Hi Everyone.  Happy Wednesday.

I have a little 3D project to share with you tonight.  Some of you may remember the interchangeable coasters I shared with you in this post.  The great thing about those coasters is that they are flexible and you can change them out for the seasons.  However, they are pretty good quality, so, they end up being a little bit pricey.

I decided to share a more affordable project with you tonight.  Still using coasters, but this time the plain glass coasters that you can get pretty cheaply at any hobby or super store.  You need a couple of things:

• Your favorite stamp - just make sure it fits with the size of the coaster :-)
• Glass coasters
• StazOn ink
• Alcohol markers
• Piece of paper cut to the same size as the coaster with the image you are using stamped on to it
• A non-alcohol based fixative

For my coaster art, I used the pear from the Faith in Nature set and my copic markers. 

One of the key things to remember as you get started.... alcohol markers and StazOn do not play well together.  If you stamp the StazOn image onto the coaster and then try to color it, it takes off the StazOn.

To get around that, I lay the stamped image on spare paper underneath my glass coaster.  I then used that as the template.  I laid down a little bit of color on the glass.  Let it dry, then I stamped on the image using StazOn.

Now... as the color isn't intense enough at this stage, I let the StazOn thoroughly dry and then turned over the coaster and colored underneath the glass where, of course, there is no stamped image!   You have to work the alcohol markers very quickly, otherwise you get streaking.... but a little streaking is perfectly ok... it gives it texture and I think looks great.

Here's how mine turned out:

All that was left to do, was to spray the fixative on the top and the bottom and that stops the image wearing off.

I can't wait to do some for Christmas. I just haven't decided which image to use yet.  I wonder I could use part of the snowman from Snow Buddy?   Mmmmm.... now I really need to think a little harder

So... I think it's a cool project, the coasters are really pretty inexpensive and I think wrapped up, they would make a great gift.  They are really easy to make, once you know the trick about StazOn and the alcohol markers.

Thank you to those of you who left wishes for us yesterday.  I did enjoy reading your comments and Andi... "It all started with a carpet.." would make a great book title, actually it would have made a great blog title, too.  Cindy... definitely a good plot for a movie... honestly... what a weekend!  But, as Beth said... we won't forget this one in a hurry.

I am so pleased that so many of you thought about the wildlife.... Thank you Kelly and Linda...  We really had thought about it.  We get so much pleasure out of our little garden that I wouldn't want to give that up for anything.  We are hoping that we will get a whole new set of birds and animals to visit us.  Our builder told us that he saw 15 Sandhill Cranes in the wetland behind our lot.  15... how absolutely amazing.  I don't think we will be that lucky, but boy.  I'd love to! 

So, Jeanne... we are definitely taking the fountain with us.  In fact, we have decided we will have one outside my office and one outside the family room in the basement.  So, we should be covereed at the back and front :-)  We've also lined up a place for our bistro table and chairs... under a couple of trees that look out over the wetland and the woods behind. 

Beverly.... yes.. you will notice I provided NO details on what led to me calling Lou and idiot driver :-)  Yvonne... you are right...these little incidents really do make you realize how fragile life is and how quickly things can change.  Ruth Ann and Rita... thank you for your good wishes and thinking about us.

Rach.... thank you for thinking about Mamma Rose.  She is doing well.  So much better than we had anticipated she would.  She saw the video we sent to her of the model home we chose and is so excited.  We hope and pray that there might be a way to get her to visit with us.  I know she would love it.

So.. thank you all..... I am feeling much better today.  Still a little stiff, but grateful :-)

3D with Jaydee - Seasonal Projects

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

Normally on Saturday I share with you my Paper Players challenge card.  However, I don't have one ready yet!  Lou and I were out on a date night - overnight - last night and we have only just gotten back.  So, I shall be spending time in my stamping space tomorrow making my challenge card, and cards for the week.

I do have a project to share with you tonight.  I found some photo coasters on-line and decided to use them to make seasonal inserts.  I had such fun making them and am working on other occasions to create inserts for!

Tonight I am going to share with you inserts for Christmas, Valentines and Fall. I used a variety of stamp sets for these, mostly SU.

Here's the Valentine one:

For this insert I used the Confetti and French Foliage stamp sets.  The hearts were punched out from the fabulous glimmer paper and placed onto Blushing Bride card stock.  The sentiment is from Short and Sweet.

Well, you can see that I made four inserts - each with a different saying.  The focal image is the bird on the snowball from Snow Much Fun.  The sentiments are from wordsworth.  Of course, I had to bring out my Dazzling Details and cover the snowball in lots of bling!

Then, for the fall ones, I pulled out my French Foliage stamp set and inked up my favorite leaf with Stampin' Write markers.

I used the Confetti stamp as the background.  I them stamped the leaf 4 times on to spare card stock and cut them out.  I adhered the leaf to the bases and stamped the sentiment.

The photo coasters came in a set of four.  So, I made 4 inserts for these three occasions.  I can't wait to try them out for others.  I have the inserts stored in a little bag along with the coasters.  Makes it easy to slip them in and out.  I thought they were really cool.  What do you think?

On a personal note:

Lou and I went to see a comedian last night - Robert Dubac.  His comedic one man act is titled, "The Male Intellect:  Any Oxymoron?"  It was hysterical.  Lou and I laughed almost non-stop for 90 minutes.  The men - and the women - in the audience appreciated his sardonic, dry, very witty, observations on men's brains, women's brains... and how we each mis-understand each other.  It was a great use of the $28 we paid for the tickets!  We then went to have dinner at the hotel.  All round it was a great date night.  This morning, a relaxing start to the morning with breakfast at the nearest Caribou and then a little shopping. 

The fall colors are just starting to emerge.  It was a beautiful drive up - and back.  I absolutely LOVE this time of year.  The weather was in the 60s as a high, the air was crisp and the skies were blue and clear.  Absolutely .... gorgeous!

Quick Thursday night update - 3D with Jaydee

Hi Everyone.  Happy Thursday night.  Sorry I didn't get to post last night.  I finished work really late! 

Tonight I have a very quick project for you.  I listed it as 3D with Jaydee... although it's not strictly 3D - it's not a card, either... So I went with the 3D!  

Don't forget to check back in the wee small hours of the morning (sorry... now I know you are stuck with that song as an ear worm!)  At about 1am the Fancy Card Swap Blog Hop begins.  There are just 9 stops on the hop and I know you will really enjoy each of the cards.  They are all so different.  I'll be showcasing the swap that I made - here's a sneak preview

On to tonight's showcase.  

One of the first purchases I made from the new catty was a set of Decor Elements.  I fell absolutely in love with the Decor Element butterflies and knew exactly where I was going to put them.  Right above my desk where I type up my blog in my crafting area.  Prior to the butterflies, I had a sentiment that read "do something creative every day".  Great sentiment... but.. it was just too small and didn't quite sing for me.  

On Sunday night, it took about 10 minutes to create this!

I purchased the Medium set... and think I should have bought two.  Each of the butterflies is individual, so you can arrange them any way you like.  I'm thinking that I might just have to add another set to my order on August 1.  They come in Chocolate Chip or White and contain 23 pieces.  If you have the Beautiful Wings die and a Big Shot, you could also cut out some different shaped butterflies to add to this collection.  Aren't they sweet tho'?

I'm leaving the walls blank for now, 'cos I am thinking of having some of my travel shots actually printed onto poster sized canvases so that I can hang them on the wall.  After all, it is my creative space.. so whether that's card making, or photography, it's still my creative outlet!

3D with Jaydee - Card Keeper Box - Sneak Peek & some favorite projects from convention

Hi Everyone.  Happy Wednesday night.

Sorry I missed my blog post last night.  I had dinner with the wonderful Bethany, Brenda and Cherie last night and when I got back my leg was really swollen and I needed to spend some time elevating it and getting the swelling down.  By the time it was stabilizing, I realized I had missed the deadline for feedburner!

However, I do have several things to share with you tonight to make up for it.  :-)

Firstly, a fabulous new addition to the mini catalog.  I love doing altered 3D items, but so rarely actually get to do them.  SU gave us the perfect opportunity in one of the make and takes.  

In the new Holiday mini is a Card Keeper Box.  It's fabulous.  Very sturdy and easy to alter to personalize it and jazz it up.  SU provided us with all the goodies that we would need and it was just a case of sitting down and following the instructions once I got back.  I didn't want to make it in SLC because I wanted to make sure that it didn't get damaged on my way back.

Isn't that fabulous?  The fabric is from the Timeless Portrait Designer Fabric selection and was used to cover just the box top.  Let's take a closeup of that fabulous flower on top of the lid.

Isn't that gorgeous???  I mean, seriously!  It's totally OTT and just wonderful.  The multiple layers, textures, bling, colors, etc. LOVE IT!  I had such fun making it.  I think that they make a fabulous gift for a friend... or yourself :-)

I have to share this fabulous sneak peek with you.  There is a new stocking die in the holiday mini... LOVE it.. along with some fabulous mini jingle bells.  Here's one of the samples made by the very talented creative crew at SU.

On a personal note:

My leg is the most gorgeous color of... well... So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz.  Still lots of Rich Razzleberry and the occasional Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush.    It honestly looks as though I have a tattoo that extends from above my knee all the way to my toes.  The only reason you realize it isn't a tattoo.... it's really pretty ugly.  When I went to the Doctor she said.. OK.. so what do we have.  I said... well my leg is a bit of a mess.  I then raised my trouser leg.  Her response?  Well... you know, that's the most accurate description of a condition I have heard in a while.  It really IS a mess!  Funny.... yep... really funny :-) Actually she was great!  So... that's the update on my leg :-)

The pussycats certainly missed us whilst we were away.  Little Charlie, who is maturing beautifully, really missed me.  He is my constant companion throughout the day, so was getting pretty lonely.  I was making my Make and Takes on Sunday afternoon, when he decided it was time to come and distract me with a little lovin'... a little purrin' and a little paddin'.  

Yep... didn't get much done for about 10 minutes!  He played with my snail.  He played with my card, he pushed papers around... anything to show me that he was being really very helpful and he couldn't understand why I had left him!  Isn't he one lucky cat?  Considering Lou found him abandoned in a corn field miles from town just before the cold weather set in last year?

I decided that I really needed a card to tie into this and used some of the same supplies to create this clean and simple card.  Now, the great think about this XOXO set, is that it is perfect for Valentines Day, anniversary - or any time you just want to tell someone you love them!  It's also perfect for either gender.  A very versatile set.   As for the Glimmer Paper - LOVE THIS!!!!

Last Minute Hostess Gift - 3D with Jaydee

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday Night!

Well!  Those of you who read my last post will know that I said that I was on vacation and there were no alarm clocks being activated in my house. Oh! and you will remember that I said Lou was home for a while! Well.  Mmmmm... Sadly, I forgot to de-activate the alarm last night and.. bang on schedule...the alarm rang at 6.45 am this morning!  Grrrrrrrrrrr.  I could even hear the cats complaining!  Then, to make matters worse.  Lou is leaving on a 6.40am flight tomorrow morning - yes, Sunday!  and yes, that was A.M.!  He's spending 22 hours getting to Milan, Italy and 22 hours getting back - for a 3 hour meeting!  I think you can guess my colorful reaction to that piece of news!  It also means that he has to get up at 4.00 a.m.  So... alarm clocks again tomorrow morning.

So, now that I have that out of my system :-)   We managed to get a fair way into the decorations - both external and internal.  The problem with decorating externally was the fact that there is a foot of snow on the ground! It makes it a lot of fun trying to put up Christmas trees on the deck, etc. in a foot of snow!  Next year.  We will.  I promise myself.  Be organized :-)

The Christmas cards are ready to sign and address - heavens above!  Finalmente, as the Italian's would say!I have only the finishing touches to do to a minimally designed house this year - and I still have some of the 3D items to complete and my Christmas shopping to finish.  It's been a rush this year, that's for sure!  We will.  I promise myself.  Be organized next year!...... I keep telling myself that the more I tell myself that, the more likely it is to be true :-)

So, on to tonight's project.  But, before I do that - a huge thank you to all of you who have left messages or sent me emails wishing me luck in my new job and wishing me a relaxing and happy vacation.  Big Hugs to you all!

I got a call from my friend Brenda.  She invited me to a group gathering at her house tomorrow afternoon.  The team will be singing carols and also providing an unwrapped present for a local children's Christmas collection. What a great idea.  However, I do have a sore throat and I didn't have a hostess gift.  What do all creative gals do when they don't have a hostess gift?  They make one.  

What do girls with a sore throat do before they decided they are going to inflict their voice on others... test it, right?  Mmmm... So, I did that.  I decided to do a couple of scales and try out the verses to a couple of Christmas carols, just to make sure that I could make at least some of the notes.  Great idea, except Muffin - my female calico - decided I must have been in intense pain!  She came rushing down the stairs, meowing at me with a terribly concerned look on her face.  I think she thought mother was being tortured!!!!!  She really was VERY concerned poor thing.  She was running around and meowing and rubbing against me.  Strange thing... the minute I stopped singing... she stopped looking concerned! :-)  Consequently, I'm thinking I might just drop off the present for the children tomorrow and NOT sing!

Onto the gift portion of tonight's post.  What to do if you need a last minute hostess gift.  Some of you may remember my candle embossing post.  Well, this time I decided to do a slight variation.

I had bought some great candles at Pier 1 today, just in case I needed to do some quick gifts over the next two weeks.  Luckily!  

What you need for this project:

1. A Candle
2. Tissue paper
3. A stamp set - in this case the Berry Christmas set
4. Craft ink and clear embossing powder.  You can also used Versamark and colored embossing powder if you prefer.
5. Brads
6. A heat gun
7. Elastic cord
8. A piece of White Confetti card stock - 3 x 3 - you can make it 2.5 x 2.5 if you prefer

Note:  remember the following photographs are enlargeable!

Start with a candle.  In this case I used an ivory unscented candle.   You can see that this candle still has it's original wrapping.  So I removed all the wrapping and was left with the bare candle.  I set this aside and cut 3 small pieces of tissue paper

I stamped the wreath from my Berry Christmas set onto the tissue paper using Old Olive craft ink.  TIP: I like to use the craft inks for my embossing as they are slow drying and it means that I can get exactly the color that I need.  I have only a few of the large ink pads in craft and am planning to buy the stampin' spots in the new year to give me even more flexibility - and yet still remain cost effective :-)

I used transparent embossing powder over my Old Olive and set it the images with my heat gun.

I then cut around the wreaths, as I wanted the least amount of tissue paper surrounding my image as I could safely get.  You can see that the Old Olive gives a soft subtle color but has a gorgeous sheen in the light.

Next, I took my candle and placed it on it's side.  I took one of the trimmed wreaths and lay it on the candle.  TIP: Use a pair of tweezers if you have one to hold on to the tissue paper - or... if you don't have tweezers, use the flat side of your small paper snips to gently hold the image in place!

 The next thing you have to do, is gently melt a little of the wax underneath the tissue paper to allow the tissue paper to absorb the wax.   Using a small piece of tissue paper, means that you have very little wax to heat and it's really none messy.  It took me less than 30 seconds to heat the wax all around the edges and under the image.  TIP: If you find that one of the edges hasn't quite stuck enough... just try gently dabbing it with your tweezers or scissors.  If that doesn't stick, zap it with your heat gun for a couple more seconds and press again.

Once you have the wreath applied to your candle, the next step is to do the same around the candle with the other pieces that you have left.  I separated the candle into thirds, and placed a wreath on each third.  TIP: I placed them at different heights on the candle, too.... that way, it mean that when the candle burns down - there will always be something to see! :-)   TIP:  don't place the candle on it's side where you have just heated it - until it has cooled - a minute or so is all you need.  Then you can move on to the next placement and heating.

Now... for the next part - take your brads - in this case I used the bold brights red brads.  I wanted them to look like the berries on the wreath.  As the wax was still a little pliable, I was able to stick the three brads in very easily.  I positioned them in a cluster.     To make sure they were quite level with the candle, I pushed down on them very gently, when I rolled the candle around.  Just a little pressure is all you need.  TIP:  I ALWAYS use my black matt to protect the table :-)  

In this pic - you can see two of the finished images - and you can also see that I took a little gold cord and wrapped it around the bottom for a little extra bling.

Here's the finished candle!  I hadn't trimmed the gold cord when I took this pic, but I did do that using my paper snips.  You can see the fabulous soft feel of the Old Olive and I love the fact that the brads give a three dimensional touch to the image and are tactile.  When the candle burns down the image will just burn along with the candle and the brads will fall out of the candle.  I got this idea from some candles that we bought down in Australia about 4 years ago.  They were just plain cream colored candles, but they had gold brads pressed into them. Really snazzy.  The thing was... I had no idea what a brad was back in those days, so didn't realize how easy it was to make them!  Now.... I know :-)  I also know how much money I could have saved by decorating them myself!

 Next, I took my 3x3 piece of Confetti White card stock and stamped the image from the Berry Christmas in Old Olive and Real Red and embossed the image with clear embossing powder.  I stamped the sentiment in Real Read and rounded the corners.  I used my piercing tool to create a hole and thread some Gold Elastic cord through the hole and tied it around the tissue paper that I had used to wrap the candle. 

All that was left was for me to sign the card - and tomorrow I will write in the hostess' name.  Voila!  A quick, easy and easily customizable hostess gift.

Tomorrow, I really will finish decorating and doing my 3D projects.  I feel like the little tank... I think I can.. I think I can... I think I can finish decorating :-)

3D with Jaydee - Noel

Hi Everyone - happy Saturday night and welcome to Jaydee's SU stampin space, where your visits are always appreciated..

  A couple of days ago I told you that I was looking to do some 3D items, instead of cards.  In fact, it was a good job I did, as cards were just not working for me today!  However, I did get three 3D items under my belt and a couple of failed cards!

I saw these Decor Blocks in the Stampin' Up! catalog and decided I REALLY wanted... no... scratch that NEEDED to do something with them.  I really love decorating for Christmas and these just screamed USE ME... USE ME... USE ME... ooops... this is beginning to sound like the start of a song from "Little Shop of Horrors"! 

So, I ordered the Decor Blocks and some decor elements Holiday Mix (i bought the Real Red and Chocolate Chip) and used my Christmas Jingle scrapping kit to decorate them.  Firstly, I started with the bare decor blocks and cut various papers from the Christmas Jingle scrapping kit.  I cut two pieces of patterned paper 3" x 12" and scored every 3 inches.  I then applied double sided sticky tape along the edges of 4 sides.

• I then went around and flattened all of the sides - after I took this picture :-). 
• This left me with two sides that were not covered. 
• I cut four pieces of card stock 3" x 3" in chocolate chip, real red and old olive. I applied two of the colors to the sides that were not covered with the DSP. 
• I then used Very Vanilla card stock and cut 4 pieces of card stock 2 3/4" x 2 3/4".
• I decided to use NOEL from the two decor elements sets and applied the letters to the Very Vanilla card stock.
• I rounded the corners of the Very Vanilla and matted them on either Real Red or Chocolate Chip.
• Once they were decorated, I applied them to the blocks.
• The final thing was a piece of Chocolate Chip striped grosgrain ribbon.  I was really torn whether to use the Chocolate Chip or the Old Olive and tried both.  The Chocolate Chip won out!

In the end, I decided I absolutely loved it and it's going to be the feature piece of my mantle piece in the basement this winter.  I also have LOTS of decor elements left - and already have ideas on what I'm going to do with them. :-)

Decor Elements - Vinyl Arts on Canvas

Hi Everyone

So..... no Dasher.  No Asian Artistry..... you can't be on jaydeestamping.com, right?  Wrong! :-)  I promised you something a little different today and the new challenge from the PPA team to do anything other than a card, was the ideal excuse to show you what I've been doing in the decor department.  And the submission for this week's challenge from the talented PPA team certainly isn't a card! :-)

I absolutely love the Stampin' Up! Decor Elements and as I'm not too handy (or that talented) with a paintbrush, I decided that Decor Elements, was just what I needed to create my own canvas.  We have just finished updating our bathroom and I wanted a couple of canvases that reflected the sage green color scheme and clean simple lines.  We use Chocolate Brown bath mats, white towlels and the walls are sage green.  The tile backsplash captures the various greens and highlights the glass sinks.  

I saw the Long Stem Silhouette vinyl art in the Definitely Decorative catalog and decided those would fit the bill for art in the bathroom.  I rushed off to our local Hobby Lobby.  They were having a great deal (40% off) canvases on a set of two.  I think the two cost me less than $10 together.  I bought some acrylic paints and mixed up one in chocolate and one in a dark sagey green.  I used a sponge to apply the acrylic paint to the canvas.  I did three layers of paint and created a more "oil paint" feel to the canvas - I didn't want it glass smooth.  Once they were dry, I applied the medium Chocolate Brown Long Stem Silhouette onto the green canvas, and the white ones onto the Chocolate Brown canvas.  It really took me less than 10 minutes to apply both the vinyl art elements to the canvases.  To finish them off, I used Tacky Tape to apply twill ribbon on the sides of the canvases and... voila.... two Jaydee original canvases!!!  Everyone who has seen them has not believed they were vinyl art until I pointed that out.

The other great thing, I can take them with me wherever I go.  They were quick, really easy and,(so  I'm told) very effective - and it really made me feel good that I'd actually created my very own "canvas".  No Monet I know... but it was all mine.... well..... with the help of SU and Vinyl Art. :-) The Chocolate brown one is in the toilet and the dark sage green one is placed between the sinks and the door to the toilet.  So you can see both from certain angles.  The colors pick up the colors in the bathroom.

It wasn't easy trying to get a pic that showed you both together, but here goes.  In the pics, they don't look the same size, but the canvases are both the same size and I cut the vinyl art to exactly the same size for each canvas.

You can see the twill tape on the sides of the green one.  Really easy and covers the nails that are on the canvas.  I'm planning to do a couple more for Christmas.  I already ordered the Dasher Decor Element... you all know i LOVE Dasher and will be putting him on a canvas to hang downstairs for Christmas.

The elements are exceptionally easy to apply to any surface and I was very pleased with the way they turned out.   You can check out and download the Decor Elements catalog on the right hand side of the right panel.  I love them, and really encourage you to take a look at the catalog if you haven't already done so.

On the personal front.... I am back to normal today.... well.... some of my friends would say that is an impossibility :-) but I'm feeling good and looking forward to playing in my stamp room tonight.
