Hi Everyone.
The challenge this week is a theme challenge. The theme…. SNOWMEN. Oh… I couldn't resist pulling out one of the precious images from the Big on Christmas set. I love this snowman – and the sentiment. I really do get all sentimental about the first snow of the season. I love the way the sound is muffled by the snow, the flakes falling from the dark sky, reflecting light as they get closer to the ground. The fact that the cardinals look even brighter than normal… it really is a magical time of the year.
We really do hope that you will play along with us this week. We'd love to visit your new snowmen/snowman/snowwoman/snowwomen/showchild 🙂 creation.
Here's mine:
Isn't he so cute? I love the silver embossed image with the silver metallic card stock. I cut the vellum snowflakes using the new snowflake die. All they needed was a basic rhinestone, and they were ready to go!
- Card stock: Silver metallic, Whisper White
- Stamp: Big on Christmas
- Tools: Big Shot, Snowflake die, basic rhinestones, stampin dimensionals, silver embossing powder, heat gun, versamark.
So, it's your turn to link your new creation to thepaperplayers challenge.
No post tomorrow, Sunday. I'll be back on Monday with more of the Operation Write Home showcase cards.
Have a fabulous weekend, everyone. You have got to know that I will be…. time with my honey!
As always, prayers for those in need – or who need a little lift.
Hugs
Jaydee

I was just missing Trish. She always had such wonderful, detailed comments about what she saw and liked. :sigh:
I’m so happy you are enjoying your time with Lou. :o)

Beautiful card Jaydee. The vellum and the silver cardstock are so elegant and serene–just like the first snowfall. Simply smashing!
