Hi Everyone… Happy Thursday. I have some really exciting news for you tonight!
For those of you that missed my post on the card drive for Enchanted Makeovers you can check out the post here. I have also created a pdf of Frequently Asked Questions that you may have around this card drive. You can open that file here.
Download Jaydee's Enchanted Makeover card drive.
In addition to the blog candy that I have offered, I am thrilled to announce that the very talented Jennifer McGuire has offered a chance to win a place free of charge on any of the card classes that she has created. Now, I've taken several of Jennifer's classes and they are awesome and are full of great information, videos, lots of projects and amazing inspiration.
I will choose a name at random from those of you who participate in this card drive. I will then let Jennifer know the name of the winner and she will send you instructions on how to sign up for the online card class of your choosing. I did Jennifer's Insipration Showcase, Clean and Simple Stamping, Holiday Bootcamp and Stretch Your Stamp classes. I really did learn a great deal from all of them. In addition to Jennifer's own videos, she invites some of the most talented stampers in the blogosphere to join her. I promise you that the winner of this prize will love their online class.
Jennifer's newest class starts on October 29 and is a Holiday Card workshop. Perfect timing to get some great inspiration for your holiday projects. You can see an example of how the classes run at this link.
Many thanks to Jennifer for offering up this great card drive participation candy! I hope that inspires even more of you to join us on this card drive.
Many, many thanks to those of you who have contacted me to let me know that you will participate.
Huge shout out to

Remember, the more the merrier…. you have until 11/23 to send me some cards and I'd love to be able to add your name to the list of participants and have you in line for the card drive participation candy. 🙂
I redid my Frosty Friends card to make it more postage friendly. It's part of the collection that I am currently working on for Enchanted Makeovers. Here's the original card
Here's the new version:
I kept the same colors, layout, background embossed layer, etc. The only thing that I changed was to remove the button and gold elastic twine. In order for it to go through the PO without needing to be hand franked, I used my star punch and some silver glimmer paper to punch out a shiny star instead. I think it works well and helps to pick up the sparkle from my gelly roller on the snowballs, earmuffs and the base of the snowmen. I know you can't see them on the photo… but I promise you they are there. It's a great way to keep the interest and bling, but make it postage friendly.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card for Enchanted Makeovers. This weekend I will be working on more cards and will also finish up photographing the cards that were submitted for Operation Write Home and creating slide shows. So, don't forget to pop back again.
As always, thank you for visiting my little area of the stamping blogosphere. Don't forget to see if you can help out with the Enchanted Makeover card drive 🙂
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight. Have a fabulous Friday.
Hugs
Jaydee

You can most definitely count me in on this one, Jaydee! I know I missed the OWH, but I’m good to go for this! :o)
Another fun fun card. Snowmen are the BEST!!
Lil’s having a sleepover this evening, so we girls are off to bake some pumpkin butterscotch chip cookies. Mm. Happy weekend!

P.S. Hi Lou! Aren’t you glad you’re not Brien in a house full of six year old girls?? ;o)
