And now for tonight's card. I wanted to use unusual colors for Christmas and keep it clean and simple. I also wanted to use the shimmer paint and the Wandering Words set.
Of course, Father Christmas had to fly over something… I mean…. so…. it had to be Lovely as a Tree! ….. and, of course, I couldn't leave it there……. I had to create some snow – so out came the glitter!
Quick, simple, clean and looks fabulous in the light. Really simple to assemble and to stamp – so long as you have your trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig!
I did manage to get a little time in my stamping space tonight. With supervision. What I would I do without the furry things telling me what to do… or making sure that I do it right?
He's gorgeous though, isn't he? He's actually a bit of a nutter! Heaven help you when Bailey gets bored. He's worse than a child when he's bored. If you hear banging or clattering – Bailey is there. He shreds toilet paper…. he pulls down towels from the towel rack…. he chews shoes… he bothers the others whilst they are sleeping…. he goes into the food cupboard and gets his own food.. good job he can't open cans, but anything in a packet… and Bailey is good to go with snacks, thank you! He opens cupboards and empties out anything he can. So.. the moral of the story… don't let Bailey get bored! I actually decided to "cat proof" the cupboards in the kitchen. I was in a rush so twisted some twisties together and then wrapped and tied them around the handles. mmmmmm… that started a new game. I would "cat proof" the doors, and Bailey would go behind me to see if he could beat his record for undoing the twistie "cat proofers". His record – exactly 10 secs. Smartie pants!
Anyway… enough of the big girls blouse…. I hope you have a fabulous Saturday and that you get to spend it doing the things you love with those you love the most. Don't forget tomorrow is World Card Making day. make a card for someone – just because you can!

Whenever I see the Santa Sleigh images like this one I seem to hear Dash away,dash away, dash away home. Maybe it’s just my imagination or maybe if I had a better memory I’d hear the whole phrase with the reindeer names too 😀
Beautiful card Jaydee. Clean simple and elegant. I’m sure Bailey approved! Have you tried the Child Lock hooks? But then those probably only work on Adults just like the childproof lids on aspirin bottles – lol! I’m grateful my Sandycat isn’t that mechanical. She’s plenty greedy it just hasn’t occurred to her to serve herself when she can bug a human to do it for her.
