Hi Everyone! Happy Friday Evening and welcome to jaydeestamping. I am sooooooooooo glad it's Friday! Today I decided to combine two challenges using Stampin Up's Lots of Bots. The splitcoast stampers sketch challenge and stampinpretty's inaugural challenge paperpals ppa1. The color challenge from paperpals was Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Chocolate Chip. Love all the colors - but never used them together! I liked the sketch so much that I did three different cards with it! This is the second card you have seen with the Lots of Bots and I realized that I used Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo... Read more →

Hi Everyone! Happy Friday and welcome to jaydeestamping. Back to the clean and simple theme today. I first saw the use of the Circle Circus in a topiary on Denise January's site. I thought it was a really creative way to use this stamp set. For my version, I wanted to really make the topiary the feature of the card, especially with such strong colors. I used Dusty Durango for the card and stamped the circles in Old Olive, Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry. I cut a square for the planter box and then used my scallop punch on a... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday and welcome to jaydeestamping. Today's card is my submission for Mojo Monday 97. I used the Stampin Up's Kind and Caring Thoughts hostess set. It's a fabulous set and I love the sentiments. I decided to feature Rich Razzleberry as the main color. I don't generally use circles on my cards... however, with the challenges in the last couple of weeks, it's forced me out of my comfort zone and into the circles :-) I like the simplicity of the layout and think that it's very versatile. I used the Cottage Wall designer series paper and... Read more →

Hi Everyone! Happy Tuesday! Three cards for the price of a single visit today! I decided to do a couple of clean and simple cards for the holidays. These are cards that can be done in around 10 minutes. I love cards for the holidays which still look stylish, but can be made quickly. I used Stampin Up's Dasher for two cards and then Autumn Days. How many times can I use Dasher? :-) I absolutely love this stamp and for $8.95 it's an amazing price for such a versatile stamp. I've shown you two Dasher cards already and here... Read more →

Hi Everyone! Happy Monday. Something a little different today. I decided to tackle my first color throwdown challenge. I decided to combine it with another sketch challenge - this one from a midnight madness. I chose the Simple Friendship butterfly to highlight in these challenges. Both of these challenges took me way outside my comfort zone. Color challenge was Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip and Perfect Plum. Colors I use - but never together. The sketch challenge also has more embellishments than I generally use. I find it's worth doing the challenges to take me out of my comfort zone as... Read more →
