Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday night. I hope you all had a great day. Tonight's card was actually created for the CAS-tastic challenge. The challenge was to create a blue and white card with a little bit of yellow. Well, I managed to follow the instructions - a clean and simple card with those colors.... what I didn't manage to do is get the card loaded for the challenge before they closed the linky... One day, I'm going to get my timing right :-) Actually, I made two cards for this challenge, so you will get to see them both over... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday night. Tonight's card uses Studio Sketches and has a vintage meets CAS feel. I used the sketch from the talented team across at stamping411 this week. It's been a while since I have done a 411 sketch and really wanted to try to participate this week. The sketch is very adaptable and I had fun playing with it. I love some of the new vintage looks, especially the warm colors, and am still trying to find ways to use vintage elements but with the CAS lines. Hi Everyone. Happy Monday night. Tonight's card features one of my favorite sets from the new catty - Baby Bundle. I just love this set. Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday night. Tonight's card is the card I created for the 4th Paper Players challenge. Tonight's challenge was to create an easel card. It isn't a style that I use nearly enough! As it is also the last night that our guest designer Jeannie plays with us, Lesley asked us to pay homage to Jeannie. Jeannie leaves very soon for Bella Italia. She will be stationed in the home of my MIL's birth - Vicenza. Italia is also the place that Lou and I got married. We married just outside of Verona - just 27 miles from... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Friday night. As I write this post, we are under a tornado watch and the sky is turbulent, dark and very stormy and the thunder has just started. So... no eating on the deck tonight! The tornado watch lasts through midnight tonight and we are guaranteed heavy storms. All we can do is hope that the damage is light and that the storm passes through quickly and spares everyone. Tonight's cards are all courtesy of Lynn and is another smorgasbord of great cards that she made for the Operation Write Home card drive. I know that you... Read more →
