Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. I hope you are all having a great day.
I just popped in to quickly update my blog - then it's back to work! This is certainly going to be a veeeeeeery long week!
I wanted to share two amazing cards that I got as swaps at the Minnesota regional. It's no surprise that all of my swaps were clean and simple. One of them featured hand colored butterflies from the Flores Suaves set. They took ages to do, but they do look great! Anyway, I swapped CAS cards and got back some fabulous vintage and shabby chic cards. I love getting cards that are ones that I wouldn't normally create, as it gives me something different to share with you.
If you needed another enabling moment to encourage you to buy Nature Walk - then this gorgeous card by Carol Nordquist should do it for you! This card is stunning in real life. In fact, it enabled me to get the sanded look background stamp. I loved the little bit of lace with the bow. It really is gorgeous!
If you needed an excuse to get out your Elements of Style set, then this beauty from Melanie Baker will encourage you to do so. Her use of the spotlighting technique using the heart punch on this card works beautifully. Another gorgeous card!
I hope you enjoyed these two fabulous cards. I know I love looking at them!
On a personal note.... as I said, another long day - and night. Lou is still in London. He did call me and let me know that the sun was shining today though!!!! So, he was very happy about that. He managed to convince the colleague he is there with to walk to the tube station. He said it was a gorgeous spring night and it was fabulous to get some fresh air and get out of the stuffy conference room at the hotel. London in Spring can be so gorgeous!
Prayers tonight for those of you who need a little lift, or a warm hug.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday.
Hugs
Jaydee
Both of these are gorgeous, Jaydee! I love how Melanie used the heart to spotlight.

Do I detect a little Baja Breeze here? ;o) These are both wonderful. Thank you for sharing.
Hang in there, Jaydee, the week is almost over. Lou will be home, the sun will be shining, and you WON'T have to work this weekend--right??
Hugs!
