Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday night.
Quick post for you tonight.
One of the last things that we did at the regionals was make this gorgeous little card. It's another 3x3 gift card. Once again we used the Nature Walk stamp set. We also colored the fabulous little Vanilla Rosettes. Now, there are many ways that you can color these. Search on the internet and I know you will find many different suggestions on how to color them. Tonight I am going to give you 1 of 2 ways to do it.
Let me show you the card first
As you can see we created the 3x3 and stamped the flower image from the Nature Walk set on to both the envelope and the card. However, for the card, we did not color up the top flower. Instead we left that uninked. We also stamped the bee from the set and the Thanks from the Very Thankful set.
We then colored the flower. Click on the photo below to see my recommendations on coloring these great little flowers. I have two different videos for you. The one tonight shows you how to create a colored rosette with shades of pink and a little bit of shine!
Prayers tonight for those of you who need a little lift - or a warm virtual hug!
I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday, filled with love and laughter.
Hugs
Jaydee
What pretty little cards! Thanks for the video too. I bought some smooch spritz but have been afraid to use it! I saw the box thing you were supposed to buy to protect the area, etc and it kind of scared me off! I will be brave now, I do remember your first post about the smooch spritz, so I know not to spray it at myself!

Fabulous! You are inspiring me to try my hand at 3 x 3 cards!

Oh Jaydee, you enabler you! I've looked at those rosettes so many times and kept talking myself out of them--I saw enough satin rosettes at my wedding, too 1980's and such. But now, thank you so very much they will be on my next order along with the dotted scallop ribbon punch. You're almost as bad as my "dealer"!
Hope you are staying warm and cozy. You're right Rach, spring has got to be coming soon (I hope)
Warm thoughts and prayers to all those in need. And Happy Hump Day to One & All.

This is a sweet card. :o) I purchased the rosettes and loved them, but had no earthly idea how in the world I was going to color them. And, wouldn't you know it, you provided me with the answer. :o) Thank you SO much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to help us out!
I hope everyone is well and that spring is on its way to wherever you may be.
Hugs!
