Paper Players Challenge # 41 - Sketch Challenge - Strength & Hope
26 March 2011
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday night. I hope you are all having a great weekend.
Well, y'all know what Saturday means.... yep! It's another Paper Players challenge. This week the very talented Nance created a sketch for us - and it's a wonderful sketch.
It was a great excuse for me to put together colors I don't normally use together, and to use my brand new set - Strength and Hope.
Here's my take on the challenge.
Card recipe - all ingredient Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted:
- Card stock: Riding Hood Red, More Mustard, Very Vanilla
- Inks: Riding Hood Red
- Stamps: Strength & Hope, Because I Care
- Accessories: Riding Hood Red ribbon (retired), Basic Pearls
I really loved this sketch and thoroughly enjoyed making this card. In fact, I loved this sketch so much that I made a 3 minute version of the card, too. I will be sharing that with you in the early part of this coming week.
We hope that you will pop along to the Paperplayers and join us for our sketch challenge this week. We were blown away by the amazing submissions for the CAS challenge last week.
On a personal note: The last few days have been hectic. My finger is getting back to normal 0- slowly, so crafting is still something I haven't managed to do. I am hoping that within the next couple of days, I will be able to actually do something! I am in SERIOUS withdrawal here!
Prayers tonight for those of you who need a lift or a warm hug
I hope you all have a fabulous Sunday. A day filled with love and laughter and time spent doing the things you love, with those you love the most
Hugs
Jaydee
Beautiful card Jaydee! I love those colors together. I never would have put them together. Thank you for sharing another awesome creation!
Hope your finger gets well soon!
Prayers to those who are in need!

Jaydee, this is stunning with your signature style! Beautiful color combo and I just love the subtle stamped background. The pearls are the perfect finishing touch. I am so envious of that perfectly cut out butterfly image, too! Very pretty! :)

Well *hello* there my friend....sorry I have been just so busy lately. I love the card, colors, stamp set and just sitting here wondering. *Now where did she get that tag punch? Thanks so much for sharing and a fab job you did on this card. I use hope that your finger gets better real soon too. I know how much you are missing all of this. Have a great day. : )

This is a lovely and classic Jaydee card! Love the background stamping and your perfectly trimmed butterfly--even the antennae!! My favorite part is the ribbon treatment--so simple yet so striking. Great job Jaydee! hugs, N.
