Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday.
Before I get to tonight's card - a BIG SHOUT OUT to the Birthday Girl. Rach, I hope you have a truly wonderful and blessed birthday tomorrow. You truly deserve it!
For the rest of you, I bet most of you are enjoying the lead up to tomorrow's Thanksgiving. I hope you have a wonderful time with friends and family. We have so much to give thanks for and it is a perfect time to reflect on all the good things that have happened this year, big and small. It is also the time to give thanks to those who toil in fields and factories every day to ensure that we have a harvest of wonderful edibles to put on our table.
It is also a good time to stand back and thank those who have meant so much to us this year. I would like to say thank you to all of you, my regular blog readers. Thank you for taking time to visit. Most of all, thank you to those who visit and leave a comment to let me know they have been by. Each comment you leave helps me to understand each of you a little better.
I have a very quick card for you tonight using the CAS and color challenge from the Paper Players this week. I am absolutely in love with the Night of Navy, Silver and White color scheme for Christmas. You can check out my original card here.
I used the same layout, but changed up the sentiment. The sentiment is from an MDS download and it is called Jolly Jingles. I love the fact that I can print it in any color - and any size. It was perfect for tonight's card.
Isn't that glimmer paper just awesome? And don't you just love those little itsy bitsy snowflakes?
On a personal note:
Pammie..... my thoughts and prayers are with you and John tomorrow.
Hugs and prayers for those who need a little lift tonight. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone.
Hugs
Jaydee

Happy Thanksgiving to you Jaydee and Lou. As I read your blog tonight, I am thankful to have found your blog. I visit your blog often to get inspiration from your creation. But I also get to know you through your everyday bits and pieces that you share with us.
I am off for the next couple of days to enjoy spending time with family. Hugs.

Oh, P.S. I know it's probably the easiest thing in the world, but how do you make those beautiful double-loop bows? I'm sure I'll feel foolish once I find out...

Oh, Jaydee (and Lou!), thank you SO much! :o) I feel blessed to have such wonderful internet friends, and again, I thank YOU for creating such a wonderful space here for us.
As for this card, well, it struck me rather dumb there for a moment. It's stunning. Truly. As I said before, I ADORE navy, silver and white on a card, and those little snowflakes really were the bit that set it off for me. I think I drooled a little over it--and I'm sitting in a house with FIVE pies for my birthday pie buffet. ;o)
I wish you, Lou, and the fur babies the absolute happiest of Thanksgivings full of love and fun. Enjoy that nut roast for me. :o)
Hugs!

...and finding you and your blog has truly been a blessing in my life this year, Jaydee. I look forward each day to my nightly read, and seriously miss you when you take a well-deserved day off. I love seeing and hearing about the garden, the wildlife, Lou's trips, the excitement of the new house and all the human interest stories you share. Your gorgeous cards and detailed instructions are really the icing on the cake.
Wishing you a very Happy Thanksgiving,
wondering what you'll cook (besides roast potatoes),
and very curious about roasted nuts!,
Linda
