Hi Everyone. Happy New Year! I hope that 2012 is a year filled with love, laughter, health and happiness for all of you! I have a quick card for you tonight. I combined the sketch challenge across at Friday Mashup with the inspiration challenge across at Moxie. I looked at the trigger challenge with all those stripes and my mind - obviously - went to making a striped card. Then I thought... nah! let's see if I can come up with something different that incorporates the colors from the stripes - and the stripes - but in a less obvious... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Friday night. I hope you are all geared up to kick off the New Year tomorrow! I have a quick card for you tonight. As my regular blog readers may remember, I have been in a bit of a stamping/creating funk recently and couldn't really work out how to get out of my rut. Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday night. I hope you are all having a great week so far. So, as part of my "get your mojo kicked into gear" stint, I checked out the "featured stamper" challenge across at Splitcoast. I looked at challenge sites, tried CASeing a few cards and tried creating cards. Nothing. So, the fact that I actually managed to get three started - and finished - well, I am hoping that the drought might soon be over. I saw a... Read more →

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there. The children were nestled all snug in their beds, While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads. And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap, Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap. When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I... Read more →
