Hi everyone. Happy Friday. Sorry that I'm not posting so much at the moment, but I hope you will forgive me for spending some quality time with my friends. The weather has been glorious for them - really gorgeous and they arrived just at the right time to see the fall colors start to peak. The rusts, oranges, golds, yellows, burgundy and greens are just everywhere. The temps have been in or near the 70s during the day and down to the 30s and 40s at night. Just perfect! I really do think that this DSP and this stamp set... Read more →

Hi Everyone Happy Tuesday. I hope you are all having a great week so far. We certainly are! I was inspired by Ann's great sketch for the Paper Players this week and decided to make another Halloween card using the sketch. One of the latest SU My Digital Studio releases is the Sophisticated Spooks. I saw this great image of the witch in it and decided that would be the focal point for me card. Instead of using cardstock, I pulled out the black lace ribbon from last year and used that as the elements behind the focal point. I... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. Ann has a fabulous sketch for us for the Paper Players Challenge #114. I had such fun playing with this challenge that I actually made 2 cards! I really wanted to make a Halloween card and decided that I should use MDS and create multiple elements, cut them out, and create a hybrid card. I love the fact that MDS is so flexible, but don't really like creating an MDS only card as it is too flat for me. Great for sending through the mail... but, I like the to glue and ink things :-) I... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. I saw this great photo inspiration challenge across at moxie this weekend. The amazing Cath always manages to find the most stunning photos - this one is no exception! Now, I am a sucker for shoes. Lovely, pretty, totally gorgeous shoes. I think these fit the bill! I love the color and the offset with the blue. Gorgeous. Here's what I came up with Of course, I couldn't just color the shoe, could I? I stamped it into three different pieces of DSP/card stock and fussy cut around them. I stamped the image onto the Very... Read more →

Hi Everyone. I've been dying to use the new SU hostess set called Carry On. I saw two challenges that inspired me to get it out and ink it up! Fab Fridays color challenge and Retro Sketches sketch challenge I LOVE the colors - so hot and on trend. I loved the retro sketch cos it allowed me to use multiple stamps from the Carry On set. Here's my card I used the little handbag stamp on the Sahara Sand DSP layer, as well as on the squares. Of course, every girl needs a little bling, right? You really should... Read more →
