Hi everyone. Happy Friday.
Sorry that I'm not posting so much at the moment, but I hope you will forgive me for spending some quality time with my friends. The weather has been glorious for them - really gorgeous and they arrived just at the right time to see the fall colors start to peak. The rusts, oranges, golds, yellows, burgundy and greens are just everywhere. The temps have been in or near the 70s during the day and down to the 30s and 40s at night. Just perfect!
I really do think that this DSP and this stamp set are a match made in heaven! Luckily I had a little left over from last year!
I stamped the angel twice. Once with Early Espresso ink and the other with Versamark. I then dipped the second angel in gold embossing powder and heat set it. I cut out the wings and the trumpet and adhered them over the Early Espresso angel. I love the clean and simple lines and thing that the gold works well with the brown. I stamped the sentiment from More Merry Messages in Early Espresso. The final touch was to cut around the EE angel and then pop her up from the base of the card with dimensionals.
As always, thank you for spending a little time in my area of the stamping blogosphere. I really do appreciate your visits - and your comments.
Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Hi Jaydee,
Sorry I've been a bit MIA--things have been a touch busy around here. Not like you, of course, as I don't have best friends from out of town visiting. :o) I hope you have had a most delightful visit. :o)
It's INSANELY disgusting here today (was yesterday as well) at 94% humidity and 89 degrees. I want my delightful fall temps back. Enjoy yours for me, okay? ;o)
The card is simply beautiful. It is classic and elegant and wonderful. Well done!
I hope you, the fur babies, and Lou are all doing well!
Hugs!
P.S. Hi Lou! You are doing well, right? :o)

No need to apologize for not posting. You have company! Hope you're having a great time. Envious that you're having fall. I'm in the Sacramento, California area and it's supposed to be 95 degrees today. Yuk! I'm SO ready for fall. I think we have another week of 90's before it goes to the 80's. What's up with that?? :) Looking forward to your "return", but until then, enjoy your friends and the beautiful weather.

Stunning card Jaydee! That angel is beautiful and I like how you did the wings and trumpet. Very nice.
So glad your weather is lovely for your friends visit. It's a gorgeous time of year and happy they get to see that with you and Lou.
I'm thinking my hummers are gone. I haven't seen them in two days now. Thanks for all the information you posted a little bit ago about them. I had one of those feeders from way back and it was faded from the sun. I was wondering where to get another and there was your Amazon link! I think I'll stock up for next year and maybe have two out instead of just one.
Have a wonderful weekend!!
