Judi's 2012 OWH Showcase

Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday night.

Before I get to Judi's fabulous showcase I wanted to let you know to save the date for October 29.  SU is doing its first ever one day stamp sale where almost all stamps are 15% off.  That's 15% off of what is probably high on your want list - for one day only on Monday 29.  Check in with your SU demo for details.  In addition, SU is offering fabulous deals on digital solutions - and you know I love my MDS :-)  There is no limit to the amount of sets that can be purchased for 15% off - this is an awesome deal. If you don't have a demo, feel free to send me an email with questions.

NOW..... on to Judi's showcase

I hope you have enjoyed the slideshows the last few nights.  I have one last one for you.  Judi's showcase.  Judi made a variety of cards, some of which are captured in this showcase.  Unfortunately I had the incorrect shutter speed set on my camera when I took these photos and some of them were very blurry.  So, my apologies to Judi that I wasn't able to showcase all of her fabulous cards.  I know though, that you will be able to get lots of inspiration from the ones that are showcased in this slideshow.

Judi manages to incorporate lots of interest and texture on her cards with deckled edges, rounded corners, shaped corners and lots of other creative touches on the edges and focal points on her cards.  She also created a fabulous set of different cards for different occasions and different audiences.  Some of the cards have additional interest with little envelopes and pieces that can be slipped out of the envelopes.  I really do appreciate that Judi supported not only the OWH card drive, but has also sent cards in for the Enchanted Makeovers card drive.   Judi, you know I appreciate it and you know that you will have made many people happy with these fabulous cards!

You can check Judi's slideshow at this link and you should also be able to get there by clicking on the card below.

I loved that Judi used the punch on the bottom left and then put the fabulous textured DSP behid the punched out image and then did the opposite for the second ornament.  Those gorgeous big bows on the ornament added just the right touch of glam!

Please leave Judi a little love on this post to thank her for her creations and for supporting the card drives.

I have greatly enjoyed showcasing some of the submission cards for you the last 4 nights and hope that you have found inspiration amongst them.  I appreciate all of you who have submitted cards and the past for the card drives.  In total over 5000 cards have been sent off via these charity drives.  Thank you to all of you!

On a personal note

I had a share a quick pic of what has been visiting our garden.  This little guy is one of my favorite visitors.  he always makes me smile.  I don't think we will be seeing much of him now until Spring though!

Spotted frog 090

he's a Northern Leopard frog and hes the browner version of the species.  You can check out more details on this frog at this link.  As his status is classified as declining, Im always happy when I see them and we can help to protect them.

As always, thank you for visiting my little area of the stamping blogosphere.  I'll be back on Saturday with my Paper Players card.  Warm hugs and prayers to those of you who need a little lift tonight and have a fabulous Friday.
