Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. Sorry about the ear worm :-) I know that song is going to be going around in your head for the rest of the day :-) I have a very quick post for you tonight, as I am not finished work yet and have several things to get done before I can call it a night. Sometimes, you really need a quick and easy, single-layer card. I saw this sentiment in one of my MDS downloads and knew that I wanted to make a bright and cheerful card. I opened up My Digital Studio and used... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Quick post for you tonight. The fabulously talented Lesley has a great tic tac toe challenge for Merry Monday this week. I went with the middle column. I mean... whenever have you known me to walk away from "coloring with markers"!:-) It was also a great opportunity for me to use a new stamp that Lou bought me. Yep, you read that right! Lou was down in Oz just before Christmas, driving down a highway, and looked across and saw a shop that said "Stamp It" in a strip mall. Immediately he had finished going where he was... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. The very talented LeAnne is our Paper Players hostess with the mostest this week and she has a great sketch for us. You can see my original card on this post. As it is a color scheme completely out of my comfort zone, I decided to challenge myself to use it for two other cards. This was one of them. Now, when I tell people I used My Digital Studio on a card, many give me that kind of eye roll that says.... cheat :-) Well, let me tell you, MDS is a really versatile... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. I have a quick card and post for you tonight. I was so inspired by the cas-ual fridays challenge to create a "long and short" card, that I created another card. This time, I used an image from my MDS stamps called "timeless". You can see more from the "timeless" set at this link. There was one image in particular that was just perfect for a long and short card. I worked in MDS to size it and then printed it, along with the sentiment, onto Whisper White card stock. I decided that it really needed... Read more →
