Paper Players Challenge #123 - Clean and Simple

Fantabulous You for Casual Fridays

Hi Everyone.  Happy Wednesday.

Well, I finally got into my crafting space to make a couple of cards this weekend.  Yes, siree, that seems to be a very rare thing these days!

I saw this challenge across at cas-ual fridays and couldn't wait to play along

I immediately knew which circular element I wanted to use as my focal point - Fantabulous You!   I mixed it with some Pool Party and Midnight Muse cardstock.  I colored the image using both Pool Party and Midnight muse in the pattern that would not be unknown to those who play cricket :-)

I used a PTI embossing plate to create a little texture on the Pool Party layer (sorry it's so hard to see).  I then used Midnight Muse ink to stamp the lines using a PTI stripes set.  I stamped the stripes 5 times and then punched out the focal image.  I popped that over the stripes using dimensionals.  All that was needed was a couple of pearls to finish off the circular theme.

Here's what I came up with:

I was pleased it with and was made for my darling hubby.  The reason he is so awesome is this..... these are the shelving units he spent 4 days installing in our WIC and you can see the massive amount of shoe storage he put in for me!!!!!!  That alone makes him awesome.  A man that totally understands my obsession with beautiful shoes.  And no, that isn't all of them.  I hadn't finished moving them in when I took the photos! :-)   The fact that the rest of the WIC looks fabulous due to his really hard work... well, I truly think he is awesome!

Here are some shots of the WIC for you

Yep.... Charlie decided it was a good place to check out the view!    But don't the units look fabulous?  Everything fits into our WIC now, great shelving, great drawers, my shoe storage, handbag storage and I love that he painted the walls the toasted marshmallow before he put up the units.   He really did work so hard and I really think it paid off!

As always, thank you for visiting my little area of the stamping blogosphere.   Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
