Patio Party Hello for casestudy
Over Under Easy for Unscripted Sketches

out of this world for less is more

Hi Everyone.  Happy Tuesday.

Another quick post for you tonight.  It's already way past 7pm and I haven't finished work yet.  I broke to feed the pussycats, before they phoned the SPCA, and to do my blog post.

The challenge across at less is more this week is to FRAME IT!   I had this idea to create a card for a little boy with a cut out frame on the front and the "out of this world" set.  I really do think this is such a cute set for boys, and the addition of the cut out at the front, really adds something to it.

Here's my card:

Slimcas (1)

You can tell I had such fun coloring these images.  I stamped them onto Whisper White card stock, colored them with Copic markers, and the fussy cut around them and mounted them to the inside of the card.  I stamped the stars and the moon with silver ink and went around the inside of the stars with a gel pen.  You can't see it, but they do twinkle - on the photo they are just showing up purple!  But, I promise you they aren't!

I decided to emboss the sentiment using white embossing powder and I really think it pops against the Night of Navy base.  The tip of the cone on the rocket also sparkles as I added some Cherry Cobbler dazzling details.

Don't forget to stop by less is more and check out the fabulous design team and submission cards.

I'll be back tomorrow with another card.   In the meantime, thanks for stopping by.  I really do appreciate your visits.

Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Jaydee
