Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. I hope you all had a wonderful week! The fabulous LeAnne has a great Tic-Tac-Toe challenge for us at the Paper Players this week. I really enjoy these particular challenges! This week I went horizontally across the top. Blue, birthday and birds. The choice of stamp was a no-brainer for me - Wetlands. This has really become one of my favorite SU sets. I stamped the bird image onto Whisper White card stock and then colored it with 3 different blue Copic markers. I was going to mount it onto a blue base, but none of... Read more →

Hi everyone... I bet that's a question that has crossed a few minds these last few days? So, I thought I had better pop in and give you a very quick update on why I haven't posted. Well, I am recovering from Lyme Disease. I contracted it via a tick bite about 14 days ago and spent most of the past 10 days fighting a 100 degree temperature, screaming headache, fever, chills, stiff neck, lack of appetite, extreme fatigue and a few other things. Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday There's another great card across at casestudy challenge this week. I was particularly attracted to the prominent bow, the tag and the circular elements on the base of the card. I did, however, decide to go a different route with the colors. For the bow, I decided to use up the leftovers of the two-toned ribbon that is no longer available. (That's actually what drove... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday I saw this great sketch across at casethissketch Its a really CAS sketch with a couple of key elements: the vertical stripe and the circle. It took me a little while, but I remembered some DSP that I had seen in the This and That collection and realized it would work wonderfully with the new Perfect Blend stamp set. It did mean moving the circular element to the bottom instead of the top, but that's the way the DSP needed to go for me to put the coffee cup. Here's my take on the sketch I... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Quick post today! I saw this great sketch across at Seize the Birthday I had this idea to combine the new Modern Medley DSP with one of my favorite sets from the new SU catalog. Wetlands. This sketch was a great way to use up some of the different patterns on the DSP. Here's my card I stamped the Canadian Goose image onto water color paper. Even though I wasn't going to do any coloring, it provides great texture and I thought that would be appropriate considering the card had so much pattern. I was really tempted to... Read more →
