Hi Everyone.
Quick post today!
I saw this great sketch across at Seize the Birthday
I had this idea to combine the new Modern Medley DSP with one of my favorite sets from the new SU catalog. Wetlands. This sketch was a great way to use up some of the different patterns on the DSP.
Here's my card
I stamped the Canadian Goose image onto water color paper. Even though I wasn't going to do any coloring, it provides great texture and I thought that would be appropriate considering the card had so much pattern. I was really tempted to color....but it would have distracted from it. I think leaving it in Black and Vanilla was the right thing... I think :-) The image was mounted onto the base using dimensionals.
I do love the sketch from Jen. It's very versatile. It lends itself to DSP, but you could easily use embossed segments or color blocking instead. You can go bold, or go subtle. I think it's cool!
I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday. Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift today.
Hugs
Jaydee

I really like that image, Jaydee. And, I agree with Colleen, the card is just fine (and more masculine!) the way it is. Sometimes less is more. :o)
Hugs!

Awesome card. Card is great just the way it is without any coloring. Looks more like a manly card this way.
Have a great day and better day tomorrow.
