Deck the Halls..... for ATCAS

 Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

I have a card that I made for Addicted to CAS this week.  Now, this isn't some ordinary card.  This is my first card as the newest member of the Addicted to CAS Design Team.   I was absolutely thrilled when Kylie invited me to become a member of the team.  :-)  As y'all know, I love Clean and Simple and the ATCAS design team is a very talented group of crafters and I am honored to be a part of that team.  So, big thanks to Kylie :-)  I really hope you will play along with us.

The cool thing about the ATCAS challenges is that they are based on code words.  The code word from the fabulously talented Vicki is right up my alley!

Now, there are many places you can go with this theme, but, considering it is the holiday season and my cats tend to get a little crazy with Christmas decorations, I decided it was time for Bailey to make an appearance... well, not Bailey himself, but his alter ego, Fluffles.

Some of my long time blog readers may remember this photograph of Buzbee and Bailey.  Mmm... I think it's almost time for Buzbee to return!   Here's a reminder:

This photo of Bailey and Buzbee is the inspiration for my inaugural ATCAS card.

I have had this Fluffles stamp for about 3 years, but have rarely used it.  In fact, it was in my crafting cupboard and I had forgotten all about it!

I inked it up and had great fun coloring it in with my Copic markers.   Here's my PET code word Christmas card.

Isn't that fun?  I love this image and the cats are the major reason we don't have a Christmas tree in the house.  I can just imagine what they would get up to with baubles and ornaments on a Christmas tree.  Mind you, I don't imagine that the Christmas tree would stay upright for too long either!

The other great thing about the ATCAS challenges?  They are sponsored and the winner of the challenge this week is:

You should really check out these adorable designs - and Kylie's card from this week's challenge using a DigiDarla stamp!

The design team have really created a fabulous set of cards to inspire you for the challenge this week and you can check out their designs here.

I stamped Fluffles onto Whisper White card stock, colored him with Copic markers and then added a little shimmer and shine with some gel rollers.  I popped up the focal layer on some Stampin' Dimensionals and mounted it onto Always Artichoke card stock.  A perfect green for Christmas.

On a personal note:

Well, getting invited by Kylie to join the design team was a great start to my week!  The fact that Monday is my last day at the office for a week, is also great :-)  I'm hoping to get some time to play in my stamping space and get ready to decorate the house and the yard on Black Friday.  Some people go shopping.... but we are going to decorate.

Colleen - I hope you aren't too cold down there in Texas!  Rach, sorry your Angel Gabriel took two days... but your tree is going to be wonderful.  Marina... Paris.  Sigh... I'm envious!  Diane... so glad you have been enjoying the cards recently.  :-)  Missy, good to hear from you!  Cam, isn't it great that SU finally printed the colors on the back of the DSP!!! Nancy... I love that you are decorating your library with your Santa collection.  Don't forget to send a photo!  Charlotte I have visited your part of the world and love it!

I'll be back with my Paper Players challenge card tomorrow - and will be answering more of your comments.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
