The post that disappeared - and blog candy
26 November 2013
Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday night.
I'm feeling a little deja vu tonight. I actually did a blog post last night, but, inexplicably, it disappeared and I didn't realize it hadn't posted until this morning!
So, here's my redux Monday night post from memory!
It's 18 years today that Lou and I first moved in together and we celebrate this day every year. Lou asked me what I wanted for my anniversary. Something from Tiffany? A handbag? Shoes? No, and, no and no, was my reply. He was a little astounded 'cos I really am crazy about shoes and handbags.
So, the question is....... what did I ask for? To make it a little more fun, I thought I would hand out some Stampin' Up! blog candy to a) the first person who guesses correctly and b) the person who leaves the funniest guess.
What's the blog candy I can hear you ask. Well, for the first person to guess my anniversary present, how about a Simply Created "Real Red Goodie Gear" - perfect for this time of the year. Here's a photo of this Simply Created set:
Of course, you need a stamp set to go with it, right? Here's a brand new, clear mount, Oh, Goodie! stamp set to go with it.
Then, for the person who leaves the funniest guess, a brand new Season of Style Paper Stack - perfect for making Christmas cards.
It's my way of saying thank you to you all for your support. Thanksgiving - or Thank-nukkah for my Jewish readers - is a time to reflect and give thanks. I have so much to be thankful for - not least of which are all my virtual friends in blogland. Your comments and your visits really area much appreciated and I feel I have gotten to know so many amazing people over this 4 year blogging journey. Having a little fun with some blog candy is a small way that I can show my appreciation.
I'll leave the guessing open until Friday - isn't Black Friday a good day to hand out blog candy? :-) I'll also give you a little hint. My present isn't mechanical - it needs power. What can it be? :-)
Now, I'm off to celebrate with Lou.
Have a wonderful Wednesday. Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight. Prayers also for little Jonah and thanks to Marjorie for bringing this to my attention. You can read Jonah's story here.
Hugs
Jaydee
