Sneak Peek: Word Bubbles for Paper Players #175

Snowflakes for Addicted to CAS Challenge #28

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

The fabulous Karen has a great challenge for us this week:

A totally appropriate challenge considering we have had so many of them fall onto the ground this week!  Oh... and, I might add, that the temps are down to -25 to -30 tonight.  yep.. that's MINUS 25.  The sun was shining and the snowfall looked beautiful though!

Here's my card for the challenge:

The sun was shining so brightly when I took this photograph that it's hard to tell that I actually used this snowflake die from Taylored Expressions with some of the wonderful Silver Glimmer paper from SU.  I thought it was perfect with the die.

For the background, I used some Pool Party and Smoky Slate inks and layered them onto a piece of Whisper White card stock, although you don't get that from the bright photograph.  I might have to try retaking the photograph in the morning.

The design team have really created some amazing cards for your inspiration.  Pop along to Addicted to CAS, check out the cards and don't forget to play along.  We'd love to see your take on the challenge.

As always, thank you for your visits and your comments.  They are always much appreciated.  Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.  I'll be back tomorrow with me Paper Players card.

Hugs

Jaydee

-25 ... yikes, that's COLD - brrrr! It's down to -10 C tonight here ... which equates to approx. 14 F for you ... and that's super cold for us as we're usually just above freezing this time of year. Stay warm! Loll xx
