Hello - Paper Players #184

 Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

It's my pleasure to host the Paper Players challenge this week, and it's a sketch challenge for you:

I thought about what I was going to do and decided that I wanted to use a monochromatic color scheme and finally settled on yellows.  I then cut the three colors into 3/4 strips and adhered them to a white base.  I then ran this through my Big Shot with the "hello" die from PTI.

I used some Gold spritz and sprayed the card base from the left hand bottom corner out.  I know it's hard to see in the photo, but here's a closeup of what it actually looks like:

It's really pretty, I promise :-)

Once the spritz was dry, I adhered the three yellow panel with the die-cut hello onto the base using double sided tape.  All that was left to do, was to adhere a couple of tiny little sequins using Crystal Effects.

Here's my card:

Hello

The Paper Players design team have outdone themselves again.  You really need to pop along to their posts and check out the very different takes on the sketch.  Then, come back and play along with us!

On a personal note:

Well, the storm didn't miss us on Thursday and, needless to say, Lou didn't make it home!  He made it home in time for us to go to the St Paul Chamber Orchestra last night.  It was a very hairy drive getting there and back and took us twice as long as normal.  This morning the roads were still pretty bad.  The world looks beautiful though!  I'll post some pictures on Monday for you.

As always, thank you so much for your visits and  your comments.  They really do brighten my day.  Warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Awesome card Jaydee. I also like the spritz background as well as your hello cut-out.
Until next time; you all stay safe and warm.
Have a great evening. I'm off to watch the nascar races now that they finally started up again after having a 6 hour delay due to tornado warnings in Florida.

First of all I LOVE this sketch, Jaydee! So much room for interpretation. I also love your layers of yellow, with a cut out sentiment, and wish I could see the pretty spritz background in person! (hugs) Sandy
