Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. I got to spend some time in my stamping space yesterday and play along with a couple of challenges. My first card was created for retrosketches. It's a cool sketch and I used it for two entirely different cards. My first card was made using the Fine Feathers stamp set. I really do love this stamp set, but am often stumped on how to use it. I realized it makes a great background stamp, especially when you stamp in different colors. As I am so longing for spring, I decided spring colors were in order. Crisp... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. Hope you are all having a great weekend and staying warm! It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and it's a CAS challenge. Right up my alley! I needed a Valentine's Day card for Lou and knew that it was time to pull out a Simon Says Stamp Stars stencil and some of my new gold Embossing Paste. Hi Everyone. It's the weekend! I hope you are all warmer and survived the storms around the country and are enjoying your weekend. I must admit, I found it amazing to see that there was snow on the ground in 49 out of 50 states! It's the fabulous Deepti's turn to host our challenge at Addicted to CAS this week and she has a great code word.' I know one thing, since Lou bought a cappuccino maker for me, I've really been enjoying my two-three cups a day. It's a wonderful thing that I can be on a conference call... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. I wanted to share with you the second card that I created for the casestudy black/white and gold challenge this week. As a reminder, here's the inspiration photo from casestudy this week. Here's my second take on the inspiration. You can see I brought in the black and white chevron patterin and the stars. I used the new SU Positively Chevron background stamp to create the pattern across the top. I used a sentiment from the Star Gazer PTI set and a PTI die. I used the stars that were left behind from the die cut... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. I have a quick post for you tonight. When I was looking for challenges to play along with this weekend, I found this striking one across at casestudychallenge I don't think I've ever made a black, white and gold card before, so was excited to give it a try. In fact, I ended up making two cards. This one is influenced completely by the colors. I pulled out some SU DSP, Whisper White and Basic Black card stock. Of course, I need the fabulous new gold card stock, which I love by the way! I paired... Read more →
