Luck for Addicted to CAS
15 March 2014
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
The fabulous Sandie is the hostess with the mostest for the Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a great code word for us.
Now, as it is almost St Patty's day, I was very tempted to go along with that as a theme, but changed my mind and went in an entirely different direction instead.
I'd recently purchased a new PTI set called Special Delivery and there was this wonderful sentiment in the "additions" and that was just the inspiration that I needed.
I pulled out my new SU Angled Tag Topper Punch, my Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, along with some Smokey Slate and Crushed Curry card stock. I had such fun creating this card.
So, here's my "Luck" inspired card:
Isn't that cute? Of course, I had to use my Lil Inkers sewn border die... I really think I might be addicted to it! I loved the Gorgeous Grunge stamp for the "road". In the end, I was very pleased with it :-)
We hope that you will pop along to Addicted to CAS and join us this week. There's a great prize for the winner a stamp set called It's All About You:
Don't forget to check out the fabulous cards from the design team, too. I promise you there is lots of great inspiration for you!
On a personal note:
Spring is sort of here... it must be... because we saw the MnDot workers out with cones on the highway this evening. That's a sure sign that spring.. I mean road season... is on her way!
Lou and I spent the night at the St Paul Chamber Orchestra tonight listening to Mendelsson, Beethoven and Strauss. It was a wonderful way to finish out a stressful week. There really is something very relaxing about sitting down and listening - and watching - talented people play classical music. Oh.. and any night that is a date night with my honey is a good thing :-)
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. It's my turn to act as hostess. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Cute card Jaydee. Reminds me of the song;
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
round and round,round and round.
The wheels on the bus go round and round,
all through the town.
(there's more verses but not going to post them all)
Enjoy your weekend.

What a clever card, Jaydee! So cute and what a wonderful card for a kiddo anxious about the first day. :o)
Date night and beautiful classical music? Yes please! :o)
Hooray for roads being repaired--it's definitely a sign! May there be no second (or third!) winter in your future. ;o)
Hugs!
P.S. HI Lou! :o)
