Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday. As some of you may remember, I attended the onlinecardclasses clean and simple 3 class and the focus was on one layer cards. I have a card that uses the die masking technique that I used on this card but tonight's card is, indeed, a one-layer card. I sponged around the heart and also sponged the area where the sentiment would be placed. The base layer is white and the sponged area is Primrose Petals. Hi Everyone Happy Monday. I hope you all had a great weekend. I certainly did. Except... it's snowing this morning. Yep! We have already had over an inch of snow! The class was focused on one layer cards, but not all of them were strictly one layer, but they were certainly clean and simple. One of the techniques used for a few of the cards was masking. Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. I hope you are all having a great weekend. It's the fabulously talented Sandy's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has this really cool sketch for us. Hi Everyone. Happy Thursday..... and Happy First day of Spring....and Happy Birthday to me :-) Today was a gorgeous day to celebrate my birthday. The temps are in the early 40s, the sun is shining and the chickadee's are singing. It's also my first day of vacation... so lots of reasons to celebrate today:-) I made a card this past weekend based on the challenge from stamping our stash - the challenge was that the only stamping on the card could be the sentiment. I pulled out some of my most favorite evah SU paper - Sweet Sorbet (only available... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. I found a new challenge site... well, new to me! It's called Stamping Our Stash and they have a challenge that was really cool. Use only the stash that you have on hand and the only stamped element can be the sentiment! Now.... that gave me lots of inspiration to go off and find some of my favorite DSP and make it shine! I used the SU banners framelits, some Birthday Basics DSP and one of the sentiments from the hostess set - See Ya Later. I paired it with some Bermuda Bay card stock. Here's... Read more →
