Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the very talented Nance's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a Tic-Tac-Toe for us. I decied to go vertically in the first column: yellow, birthday, patterned paper. I decided to go for a clean and simple approach and incorporated the patterned paper in the die ct "birthday". As the DSP is not as strong as card stock, I die cut a couple of pieces of white card stock and layered them underneath the die-cut "birthday". I then die-cut a layer using my Lil Inker stitched rectangle die and stamped... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. It's the talented Sandie's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and she has a very versatile code word for us Now... there are all sorts of places you can go with this word and, I must admit, my initial reaction had been to create a little Tiffany box of Tiffany-Blue-with-a-white-satin-ribbon-box of luxury. BUT, when I thought about it, I realized that for me, going to the beach is pure luxury. Hi everyone. Happy Tuesday night. I thought it was about time you had a break from Ornamental Pine and had a sneak peek at another set from the upcoming SU holiday mini. Hi Everyone. Happy Monday. Well, you had a couple of days rest from Ornamental Pine, but I thought it was a good night to share another card made with this great set. I REALLY am loving it and know that it will form the cornerstone of our Christmas cards this year. For tonight's card, I used the same layout as THIS card. That card was soft and serene, this one has more contrast and, once again, I used the fabulous Ranger Verdigris embossing powder. This powder is different to most that I have used in that it has a couple... Read more →
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday! It's my turn to host the Paper Players challenge this week and I have a sketch challenge for you. Now, I went for a square card. It's VERY rare that I make a square card, but, for some inexplicable reason, I decide square was where it was at :-) Here's my card: I used an old Simon Says Stamp set to create the flowery focal point. It was one of the old SSS Monthly kits! I stamped various stamps from the set onto a piece of Whisper White card stock with a mixture of retired and... Read more →
