Happy Holidays for Paper Players #223
22 November 2014
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
It's the fabulous LeAnne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has an awesome sketch for us.
I really loved this sketch! I had some left over bunny paper on my desk.... I know you have seen me use this before:-) It's amazing that I managed to make 3 different cards using this single piece of paper. I only had a little bit of it left, so I used it as the banner piece under the button and paired it with a matching piece from the same Simon Says Stamp November card kit.
I paired it with some SU Pool Party card stock and Cherry Cobbler baker's twine. They were a perfect match for the colors in the DSP.
Here's my card:
I do hope that you will play along with us this week but, before you do, remember to check out the amazing cards that the design team have created as inspiration for you.
On a personal note:
This has been a very long week at the office for me and I haven't been able to get to my blog to post. I do hope to get some play time in my craft studio tomorrow and that I will be able to create a few cards so that I can post this coming week.
It's still cold here, but it did get just above freezing today so that we could melt a little bit of the snow! It sure does look pretty, but it just seems so early to have this much snow on the ground.
I did hear from Operation Quite Care this week to let me know that the cards had arrived. They were absolutely thrilled with them and were amazed that we had managed to amass over 300 cards. :-) My blog readers really are amazing :-)
I'll be back with a card tomorrow, in the meantime warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

I love love love this paper! Is it available outside of the kit? I think I NEED some! Your card is as sweet as can be! I hope you are able to get some "me" time in your craft room, as I had one of those weeks too and am looking forward to crafting (read: CLEANING UP) in my room as well!
