Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. Hope you are all having a fabulous weekend. It's the very talented Sandy's turn to host our Paper Players Challenge this week and she has a great color challenge for us. I decided to use a new stencil as the colors of Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow were perfect for it! Both of these colors are made richer and creamier with the addition of the Very Vanilla. Hi Everyone. Happy Friday. As some of you were very kind and encouraging about my first art journal page, I decided to share my second one with you. Of course, I had to use my Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangles. I tied it together with a stamp and die cut from Papertrey Ink. Let me start with the sketch: I really liked the fact that the mat layer had a gap and the double sentiment layer. I realized I could use some Gold Embossing and tie that together with some of... It felt wonderful to just dedicate the time to just being crafty with very few interruptions. The only interruptions I had were from Lou who needed help wrapping our arborvitae with burlap. We didn't do that last winter and the deer were pretty rough on the smaller ones and the larger ones that they could reach. Luckily the snow was so deep last year that... Read more →
