Hi Everyone. Lou and I have just returned from an impromptu trip where we have spent 12 glorious days with our dearest friends. It was simply wonderful, but it did mean that I was unable to get to post to my blog often - just in case you hadn't noticed :-) I will be back on my normal schedule starting this week, but I just wanted to pop in tonight to say that Lou and I wanted to wish all of you a very Happy New Year and hope that 2015 is filled with all of the wonderful things you... Lou made a quick stop home between leaving China and going to Pittsburg, which meant I was free to have a little play time and I really tried to make the most of it. :-) I saw that Simonsaysstamp has a BLING IT ON challenge. Now..... seriously! I think that challenge is certainly right up my alley! When bling is required, there is no better way to participate... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday. One of the challenges I got to play with on Sunday was this great sketch from As You See It. I decided that I really need to make a card that wasn't a Christmas card and the sketch prompted me to bring out a set from Papertrey Ink called Star Gazer Additions that really doesn't get a lot of love. it has a circular stamp that would work really well for the sketch. I added some die cut vellum stars that I ran through my new SU star embossing folder. I've really been reaching for my... Read more →
