Kiss me I'm Irish for Addicted to CAS # 59

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Vicki's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge and she has a code word that is perfect for this time of the year.

We are delighted to have the very talented Birgit as our guest designer again this week.  We also have our wonderful sponsor with some great prizes for our challenge winner this week.

Once I saw the code word and realized that the challenge would occur very close to St Patrick's Day, the Irish gal in me decided it was the appropriate time to create a St Patty's day card.

Some of my blog reader's may remember that I posted a few year's ago about finding out that my grandfather was Irish from the town of Carlingford in County Louth and that we could trace our roots back to the 11th century.  8 years ago we visited Carlingford and it was amazing to stand in front of the tower of my ancestors and celebrate an ancestry I didn't know I had. :-)

Here's my card for the challenge:

Kiss me Im Irish

I had great fun creating this subway style card and I hope that you will play along with us and find your interpretation for the codeword.  The design team have some great inspiration for you, so I hope you will check out their creations.

On a personal note:

Oh....... it got above 60 and it was wonderful! I managed to get a little time out on the deck.  The wetlands and woodlands are very, very, brown and I am so looking forward to a little pop of GREEN!

As I am now able to get onto the deck, I thought I would share a couple of photos with you.

I love looking out onto the woodland and finding this:

Deer (1 of 1)

They were sitting there in the sun, just enjoying the warmth... I know exactly how they felt!

I'll be back tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

Beautiful; and what a perfect card for St. Patty's Day.
Only thing Irish about me is my name.
I can just about imagine how wonderful it is for you to be enjoying your screened in porch once again.
The deer sure seem to be enjoying the sun and warmer temperatures as well. Love seeing the deer out and about. Something I don't enjoy seeing here so thanks for enjoying your photos.
Have a wonderful and enjoyable weekend

Love your St. Patrick's Day card, Jaydee! So glad you got to enjoy some sunshine and beautiful wildlife. I noticed a lot of red tipped trees and greening field in NC today. Spring will be here soon.

What a GREAT card- was it a stamp?

I feel JUST like the deer, ready to stretch out and soak in the sun.
