Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
It's the fabulous Barb's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a great color combo for us
We are also pleased to have our talented guest designer - Pia - along with us again this week. I hope you will check out her fabulous creativity at
Pia's creative world.
Now... black, white and gold is a great color combo... but one that is very hard for me. I really spent a lot of time planning my card and ended up with a wedding card. I embossed my new favorite stamp set with gold embossing powder and then used a Wink of Stella Gold pen to add a little detail to the middle of the flowers.
I stamped the sentiment onto black card stock and mounted the focal layer onto gold foil card stock.
Here's my card:
I really think the Wink of Stella gold pen added just the right amount of detail to the middle of the flowers.
We hope that you will play along with us at Addicted to CAS
and I hope that you will check out the fabulous inspiration cards from our talented design team. If you do play along with us this week and are chosen as the winner - we have a great prize for you... three free digis from Eureka Stamps:
On a personal note:
Oh... spring is so trying to make her presence known... but old man winter is still holding the reigns! More rain, more cold and more grey clouds. However.... when Lou and I were driving around Minneapolis today, we say signs of spring.... trees with blossoms, leaves appearing on trees and the soudns of mating birds! Oh... I love this time of year.
Our cardinals are still with us... YAY! and they are the first to be heard in the morning and the last to go to roost at night
We have put out the furniture on the deck... in the hope that we can use it VERY soon.... very soon!!!!
I'll be back with my Paper Players card tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
