Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulously talented Laurie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a Tic-Tac-Toe for us. I decided to vertical on the right hand column: flower, sequins and any shade of yellow. I began by stamping the image from my Penny Black Fragrant set onto X-press IT paper. My favorite cardstock for Copic coloring. I used Memento Black ink and then went to work with my markers. Once I was happy with the image, I die cut it using my Oval dies and used some Soft Sky polka dot DSP as... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday. I have a quick post for you today featuring a PTI set called Latte Love. I have had this set for about a year and rarely use it, but this great sketch across at Sunday Stamps prompted me to pull it out of my stash and ink it up! Isn't that a great sketch? The circular element was what prompted me to use this set. I realized it would be perfect for one of the sentiments. I had great fun coloring the cups, too! I then stamped the image again over the branch - as I didn't... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday. I hope you all had a wonderful and restful Memorial Day and that you were able to stop and give thanks to all those men and women who fought for our freedom and especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice for us all. I did get time to play in my craft room over the weekend and it felt really good to actually get my fingers inky and flex my creative muscles. It's always good to have a break, but it is great to get back to it. Crafting really is a form of meditation for... Read more →

Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday. It's the fabulous Ann-Marie's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a sketch for us: It's very rare that I use square elements on a card and, even though A-M said we could use any shape, I decided to push myself and go with a square. With apologies to Barbra Streisand.... it seem's I'm in a flower state of mind right now! Mind you, I'm always in a New York State of Mind, too! Love the place! But... I digress... back to my card! I have a new stamp from Penny... Read more →
