Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
I have a quick post for you today featuring a PTI set called Latte Love. I have had this set for about a year and rarely use it, but this great sketch across at Sunday Stamps prompted me to pull it out of my stash and ink it up!
Isn't that a great sketch? The circular element was what prompted me to use this set. I realized it would be perfect for one of the sentiments. I had great fun coloring the cups, too!
Here's my card:
Some of you might recognize the DSP...... it's a Stampin' Up! Christmas DSP from last year! I was looking for some Pear Pizzazz DSP and realized that the only one I had was this and it was perfect - I mean, it doesn't scream Christmas does it?
I hope you will check out the fabulous design team and submission cards across at Sunday Stamps - and play along with their challenges.
On a personal note:
Well.... it's in the 60s! We went from the 80s to the 60s overnight and it feels decidedly chilly. Mind you, it's nice to see the sun for a change and not the rain! I was at the gym yesterday and it was absolutely lashing it down. The fact that the gym has a metal roof made it much more interesting to listen to the rain..... but we could see it pouring off the roof. Consequently, we have LOTS of water in the wetland again. I'll share some before and after photos with you tomorrow.
Our Oriole feeder continues to attract lots of attention... and not necessarily from the Oriole's either! This little guy has been renamed "sugarpecker". Everytime we put out the jelly, the Downy Woodpecker is almost the first to eat from the jar. I caught this shot of him hanging around waiting for the Oriole's to finish feeding.
Our cattail (bulrush) feeders continue to attract a multitude of birds, too. The Goldfinch love them, as do the Chickadees. You can see one of the Chickadee's hanging off the side and the goldfinch on the ground
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card, in the meantime warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

Hi Jaydee! This is a wonderful sketch and I love your card! You'd never know the dsp was from a Christmas collection, don't you love that? The birdie pics are adorable, especially the sugarpecker. Wonder what he's thinking there!
Colleen, I'm so sorry to hear about the snakebites. I am keeping everyone in Texas in my thoughts and prayers. Stay safe!

Great sketch, lovely layout, cute stamp plus a great looking card.
Awesome card all the way around.
I bet Fred and Ethel enjoy the water plus it will help nourish the wetlands. Just watch out for snakes.
With all the flood waters down this way many have been bitten by snakes.
