I love your Monarchs, Jaydee! I saw a Monarch this morning. He lit on the can I was putting weeds into. We'd planted a milkweed plant last week and I'm hoping he/she found it. She was certainly a beauty. We usually see mainly Swallowtails in our yard. Love those cattail feeders. They are really pretty with the goldfinches perched on them! Thanks for the wonderful inspiration!

Love your tribute to the magnificent Monarch butterfly -- such a striking color palette! I'm blessed to have a landlord who is kind to Mother Earth and all her creatures. Him and his wife have created this lovely backyard oasis that draws all sorts of winged wildlife -- hummers, blue jays, cardinals, woodpeckers, finches and many, many butterflies. It's nearly summer here in South Texas so the days are a bit warm, but the evenings are pleasant as are the early mornings and that's when I sit out on my deck with a glass of iced tea and watch the wondrous wildlife going about their day. It's very peaceful, relaxing and therapeutic -- much like stamping and card-making.

Wonderful card..........so bold and beautiful.

The Monarchs are just stunning! I love your technique. The colours are gorgeous!!! xx

Your Monarch butterflies are really beautiful Jaydee. Great technique creating a mask for sponging ... really creates lots of colour and depth. xx

Beautiful card. Love how you inked the colors and left the black part just glued in the middle. Looks like Charlie has the perfect spot for an afternoon nap.

Beautiful design and your butterflies are gorgeous, Jaydee! Thanks for the link re: The Monarch Corridor and for all the great photos, too...especially the one of Charlie :) Lovely post!

Oh, how pretty, and who doesn't like butterflies. Your card is beautiful Jaydee.
It's nice to see them out and about here once all of our rains have stopped; as well as the cute little hummers flying about. They are so much fun to watch.
Looks like Charlie is having a good nap.
Thanks for sharing the lovely photos with us. I so enjoy seeing them.
You and Lou have a wonderful evening along with an enjoyable weekend.

An Irish Blessing
May the wings of the butterfly kiss the sun.
And find your shoulder to light on.
To bring you luck, happiness and riches.
Today, tomorrow and beyond.
