Hi Everyone.
Very quick post for you tonight. It's pretty late and I wanted to get my blog post done before I crawl into bed. It was a very early start to the day (5.15am) and it's almost 11pm!
This weekend I played around with one of my new stamps from the 2015/2016 catalog. I was so excited when I saw this set in the catalog and knew that it was going to be a favourite. One of the things I love about it is that you can stamp it as a single stamp image, or layer it all the way to three layers.
The challenge across at As You See It was to create a one layer card. Now, I always find these difficult, but this set made it very easy.
Here's the challenge
I began by scoring a piece of the new Thick Whisper White card stock for my card base. I then stamped the images from the Watercolor Wings butterfly in Mint Macaron and Island Indigo. I LOVE this colour combo and, must admit, I am in love with Mint Macaron!
Here's my take on the one layer card:
I wish I could have captured how sharp these colours are together, but it was such a bright and sunny day (for a change!) and I couldn't really get the colours to be as true as they really are!
If you haven't checked out the As You See It Challenge, you really should!
I'll be back tomorrow with a longer post - and another new creation. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
