Hi Everyone. Happy Sunday.
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.
It's the fabulous Nance's turn to host our Paper Players Challenge this week and it's tic tac toe week!
I love tic tac toe week as there are always such a multitude of different cards in our Paper Players gallery and I'd love to see what you all do with this challenge.
Me? I went the Watermelon Wonder, embossing and oval route. I started with a Rubbernecker stamp called abstract ovals and stamped them in Watermelon Wonder . I used Memento Black on the outline stamp and stamped over the top of the Watermelon Wonder ovals.
For my embossing - I used silver embossing powder for the sentiment. The touch of grey/silver adds a little bit of softness to the bright Watermelon and the stark black. I really love the abstract, clean and simple feel of these stamps.
Here's my card:
To finish off the card, I used a silver Wink of Stella pen to add a few little silver circles to add to the Watermelon Wonder and black ones already placed there by the stamp.
Don't forget to check out the fabulous creations from our very talented design team:
I'll be back in a couple of days with another card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight:
