Lola's Butterfly for As You See It Challenge
21 October 2015
Hi Everyone.
Quick post for you tonight. I wanted to share another card I made for Lola as part of Lola's Challenge week at As You See It.
You can read all about Lola and why we are creating cards for her on the challenge site. Here's the challenge badge:
Yesterday I shared with you the Fairy Card I had created and tonight I wanted to share with you the butterfly card. It's pink and glittery and fluttery :-)
The butterfly is so pretty in person - but doesn't really show up on the photos. Here's a close-up shot for you:
The front of the butterfly is a clear sheet with printed butterflies. The back is pink glitter paste. So the glitter is nicely contained in a paste and doesn't rub off. It looks lovely behind the lines of the butterfly and has just enough "heft" that it stands proud from the page quite naturally. I added a couple of rhinestones that I colored with a copic marker and some Blushing Bride polka dot DSP from Stampin' Up! This card is also in a box winging its way to Cards for Hospitalized Kids.
On a personal note:
As a reminder - I announced the prize winners of our 2015 Cards for a Cause card drive. Don't forget to check out my post here.
I'll be back tomorrow with another card for you. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
