Sending a hug for Tag You're It and the Kindness Challenge
Be Strong for Paper Players #272

It's a woodland Christmas for Addicted to CAS 3rd birthday celebration

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.  Hope you are all having a great start to your weekend.

It is certainly a BIG weekend at Addicted to CAS this week as we celebrate our 3rd anniversary.  Huge shout-out to our fabulous challenge creator, Kylie on such a momentous occasion.

To celebrate our 3rd anniversary, we have so many wonderful prizes to give away from some of our amazing sponsors - so we hope that you will come and play along with us!

Here's our challenge for this week - and check out our fabulous new CAS design, too!

  ATCAS - code word dimension

So.... when you hear the word DIMESION, you don't naturally think of CAS - and that is what makes this challenge so great.

I decided to add dimension in a couple of different ways - the first is by creating a multi-colored background using 4 different colors of TIm Holtz Distress inks and some Perfect Pearls added to water to create some large - and small - snow-flake types of patterns.

I then used some glitter paper to die-cut from Taylored Expressions.  I really love the look of the shimmery, shiny, birch trees against that pink/purple/blue/black backround.

Here's my card:

Dimension

I put the two layers of cardstock onto an Elegant Eggplant base and colored a basic rhinestone using my Copic Markers to create a purple rhinestone to ground the sentiment.

I really hope you will come and help us celebrate this fabulous milestone across at Addicted to CAS and don't forget the amazing prizes you could win.

On a personal note:

Thank you to all of you who left messages or sent emails to welcome us as fellow American's!  We really thank you all so much.  It was a wonderful experience and your well wishes made it even better!

I'll be back on Sunday with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee

I know; I have been away for awhile but Congratulations to you and Lou on becoming American citizens.
We got hit with a blast of winter weather yesterday with very strong winds along with a big drop in temperature.; down to freezing this morning. Cold enough to have the heat on anyway.
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend and wishing you and Lou a Very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.
