Stampin! with Jaydee

Hi Everyone.  As promised, I am here to share some more cards that I made using the Simon Says Stamp October card kit. 

I loved the gold foil heart papers and the butterfly cutout journaling card, but needed just a little bit of something else and realized that I had a vinyl butterfly that I had watercolored sitting on my desk.  I had colored it several weeks ago and had been waiting for the right card.... well, this card just felt like the right one :-)  I stamped the hello from the stamp set in the kit - "Here's looking at you" - it was just the perfect size to fit on the journaling card.

Here's another one I made:

No stamping required on this one!  I took a piece of the butterfly paper and ran it through my Big Shot with the Vertical Stitched Die from My Favorite Things.  I paired it with one of the journaling cards - and no stamping was required!  All I needed to do was add some shimmer on the butterfly wings with my Wink of Stella pen and to pop up the journaling card on a piece of fun foam.

One more for tonight:

I loved the Spirograph looking hearts on this DSP - anyone remember playing with a Spirograph?  I adhered the DSP to the card base and then stamped the heart from the stamp set onto a piece of cardstock and fussy cut around it.   I stamped the ampersand and cut around that to form a circle and then stamped the two sentiments and hand cut them.  I mounted the heart on fun foam and then adhered the two sentiments.  The ampersand was popped up with a dimensional to add a little interest. 

All of these cards will be going into the next card drive, which reminds me!  I have heard back from our recipients and all the cards have been received and LOVED!  They charities were so happy with the beautiful cards and commented on how bright, cheerful,  beautifully made they all were - and how appropriate they were.   So thank you again for helping to make this card drive a success!
