Joy & Love
Oh, Christmas Tree for Paper Players #274

Be Joyful for Addicted to CAS #78

Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.

I hope you are all having a great week and are still remembering the wonderful times with friends and family from the Thanksgiving weekend!

It's the fabulous Sarah G's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a very timely code word for us.

Now, there are so many ways you can go with this sketch and I decided - surprise, surprise! - to go with a Christmas card.  I really wanted to make a tree card but with a twist!

I stamped the trees with versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Then, that's where the fun started!  Once the embossing powder had set, I added some green foil to the images and ran it through my (very warm) laminating machine to give me some fabulous green, shiny trees.

However, any Christmas tree needs some snow!   So, I took a Tim Holtz stencil and some white embossing powder and a pre0cut circle template and set to work.   Before the embossing powder was dry, I added some Distress Glitter.  So, my trees now had a "snowy" background.

Here's my card:

Be joyful (1 of 1)

I do hope you play along with us this week.  There is a great prize on offer for our winner this week.  A $15 certificate to spend at the fabulous Happy Little Stampers store, with thanks to our wonderful challenge creator, Kylie!

If you are looking for some inspiration - don't forget to check out the amazing inspiration cards from our very talented design team.

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs
Jaydee
