Oh, Christmas Tree for Paper Players #274
Flower Layers for Paper Players #275

Mr Snowman for Safyre

Hi Everyone.  Happy Wednesday.

Sometimes the human spirit astounds me.  amazes me.  transpires all odds.  fills me with awe.  The story of a young girl who wanted to fill up her Christmas tree holder caught my attention, but when I read the story this little 8 year old left a lasting impression on me.  Have you read Safyre's story?     Is this request for cards true?  In true Minnesotan - you betcha.  How could I not create a card for such a wonderful young lady?

I looked for an image and came across a website called A Day for Daisies and a fabulous image called Mr Snowman.  I couldn't resist this image and spent time coloring it in and then creating a shaker card.

Here's what I came up with:

Dayfordaisies (1 of 1)-2

I colored the image and then created a shaker card with some retired SU snowflakes and sequins from last year.  I added a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp - Furry Christmas and a puffy sticker from the SSS December 2015 card kit.  This card will be in the post to Safyre tomorrow.

I hope you will be inspired to send a card to Safyre - or someone else who needs a card to help lift their day.

I'll be back with another card tomorrow

Hugs

Jaydee

What an adorable and cute card. I'm sure she's going to enjoy your shaker card.
I don't do Facebook but I did google and got the whole story along with her mailing list so got a card made off and just ran it down to the mailbox to be mailed yet today.
Thanks for the heads up about this sweet little girl.
Have a wonderful day along with an enjoyable and relaxing evening
