Love heart for Addicted to CAS #80

Feed Me for Paper Players #279

Hi Everyone.  Happy Saturday.

It's the fabulous Nance's turn to host our challenge this week and she has an awesome sketch for us.

This sketch has so many great possibilities and immediately I saw it, I knew which stamp set I was going to use.   I bought this set a couple of months ago and love it!  However, for this card I decided not to use the sentiments that come with the set, as I wanted to create a miss you card for our Besties Pam & John and Russ and Rach.

I had such fun coloring this cat!  I tried to make him look like Bailey when he is grumpy, which he gets at about 3am when he is hungry and I haven't left food out for him.  If you need a refresher of what Bailey looks like - here's a quick photo

Isn't he gorgeous?   Pity the garden doesn't look like that at the moment...... :-)

I colored the cat - and his box of chocolates (cos I miss my English chocolate too!) with Copic markers and mounted both the cat and the box of chocolates with dimensionals.

Here's my take on Nance's sketch:

Isn't that grumpy face just perfect for a "miss you" card?  I think so a:-)

I hope that you will play along with us this week and show us what you can do with this sketch.  If you are looking for some inspiration, check out the cards from our fabulous design team:

On a personal note:

I hope all of my blog friends on the east coast are safe and warm -what a whopper of a storm!  Luckily, we never have to deal with snow totals like that from a single storm - there just isn't enough moisture in the air.   I cannot image how magical Central Park looked with over 2 feet of snow!

I did get to make some cards this weekend, albeit it slowly... but I did - so I will have some things to share with you this week.  I'll be back tomorrow with another card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs

Jaydee
