Love heart for Addicted to CAS #80

 Hi Everyone.

Hope you are all having a great start to your weekend.  It's the fabulous Doni's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has color theme for us.

It's a perfect code word for those of us looking to create Valentine's cards....but.... it need not be confined to Valentine's.  What's wrong with sending a card to your loved one - friend - or family member - anytime of the year to remind them that you love them?

I decided to change up my card, add some sparkle, some texture and some glimmer ... just to let my besties Pammie and Rach know that I love them both so much :-)

I started with a white card base, which I ran through my Big Shot with a new embossing folder I purchased from Fun Stampers Journey.  I then stamped the heart from an old Simon Says Stamp card kit in red and went over it with a glitter pen.  That wasn't enough glimmer though, so I added some rhinestones!

Here's my card:

Isn't that textured background awesome?  I love it.

I do hope that you will join us at Addicted to CAS this week.  Our very own Kylie is our sponsor for our winning submissions.

Kylie is offering a $15 shopping spree for our winner!  There are some fabulous choices, too!

It's also the turn of our fabulous guest designer - Ardyth at  Ardyth Percy-Robb to join us - and her card is a treat. I hope you will check it out.

On a personal note:

Well... it's warmer.  Yes... It is 20 degrees ABOVE zero.  That means that we have jumped nearly 40 degrees since my last post.  Even though there is lots of snow on the ground... it's positively tropical!

Err... it might be "tropical" but that isn't obvious when you see what our wetland looks like from our deck door.

Tropical?   Maybe not!

Oh... I know I keep showing you photos of woodpeckers... but I just love them!

I love the fact that we get some many different types of woodpecker and the Hairy's are real characters.  Nothing scares this guy off his feeder :-)

I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card.  In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.

Hugs
Jaydee
