Hi Everyone. Happy Monday.
I have a card to share with you that I made for Match the Sketch. I had such fun with this little bunny that I made two entirely different cards with him and I'm sharing one of those cards with you tonight - and the other one tomorrow.
Here's the sketch from the talented team across at Match the Sketch
I began with a piece of Soft Sky card stock that I ran through my clouds embossing folder. The clouds weren't standing out quite as much as I wanted to, so I went around them with a grey copic marker a couple of times, just to add a little shadow. That made them pop just enough and I could then get around to the other fun parts of my card
I printed the bunny onto X-press it card stock and colored him with my Copic markers. I then fussy cut around him and he was ready to mount All that was left was to find some fun papers to go underneath him, and to add the sentiment.
Here's my finished card:
On a personal note:
Well, I had a wonderful day yesterday and thank you to all of you who left me messages wishing me a wonderful birthday, they were very much appreciated! I was also lucky to get some cards from my crafting buddies and I will be sharing those fabulous creations with you later this week.
As it was my birthday - and this is technically my birthday week - I thought it would be a good time to share a little blog candy. I'll be doing a couple of posts this week where you will be able to have a chance to win some stamping goodies.
First blog candy up for grabs is this fabulous Fun Stamper's Journey stamp set called MOON WALKER
This is such a cool set for masculine cards and is wonderful for creating scenes. I used it to create cards for Hospitalized Kids. It was fun to color and I love the way the FSJ stamps are deep etched rubber, which works so well for these detailed stamps.
So... what do you have to do to be in the running for this fabulous brand new Fun Stampers Journey set?
Easy peezy..... just leave a comment on this post and tell me what your favorite photograph is from my site. So... any photograph that has appeared on my site - ever:-) It would be great if you told us why you liked that particular photo but you don't have to. Just tell us which one and add the link so that everyone else can check it out. If you can't find the link - just give us the date :-)
I'll leave this particular blog candy running through Thursday 3/25 and will a random winner from the photo choices.
I'll be back tomorrow with my new card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
