Sending a little Sunshine for Addicted to CAS
16 April 2016
Hi Everyone. Happy Saturday.
It's the fabulous Ceal's turn to host our Addicted to CAS challenge this week and she has a very season appropriate code word for us. Having just returned from the UK I have experienced much of this particular code word in the last 10 days :-)
Before we get to my card this week, I invite you to check out the blog of our very talented Guest Designer - Caroline at Keep it Sweet & Simple
The winner of our challenge this week will win a $10 shopping spree at:
For my card I used my WPlus9 stamps and matching dies and decided to make a shaker card using some DSP and sequins from the recent Simon Says Stamp card kit. The DSP was just perfect for the challenge:-)
Here's my card
The frame was created from the die set. I love the scalloped border and stitch inner. I stamped the sentiment onto vellum and secured it under the frame. I thought the yellow sequins would brighten the day of the recipient :-)
If you are looking for some inspiration - you have to look no further than the designs from our very talented design team. You can check them out on our webpage
On a personal note:
I wanted to share another photo from our trip.... I captured this shot of the pheasant at a Tudor Castle we visited. More about the castle later this week - but isn't this pheasant just so handsome?
The topiary figures were interesting, too. A disembodied porcine topiary to be exact :-) I thought the details around the eye and mouth were genius!
Isn't that cool? It takes an artist to create that with a pair of shears!
I'll be back tomorrow with my Paper Players card. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
