Hi Everyone. Happy Wednesday.
Yay.... we are only two days away from a long weekend. That makes me want to jump up and down like Tigger!
I have a quick post for you tonight. I made a card using the sketch from Case this Sketch and the colors from Color Throwdown. However, I always forget that CT change out their challenges on Wednesday... so I missed the deadline - just in case you were wondering why I had grey leaves on my flower bouquet... now you know :-)
I love the simplicity of the sketch and decided to have some fun with a flower bouquet - as the outline is a little more abstract. I really love the pale pink with the grey and darker pink, too.
Anyway, here's my card:
Mmmmm.... looks like I had a finger print on my camera lens..... looking at the bottom left corner I can see a smudge... and it definitely isn't on the card. Looks like I need to go clean it!
On a personal note:
It rained today and, after the warm days we have been having, the frogs were out and about proclaiming their availability. A little later than usual - but it was wonderful to hear their nighttime chorus. I'm hoping that we have a few more nights of it:-)
I promised you a couple of photographs.... but first... you might want to know what type of bird Casper-the-ghost-bird was in my
last post.... well, it was none other than the woodpecker. I have no idea how he became such a ghostly image :-) Maybe you would like to see some real photographs, instead of my bloopers?
How about this beauty? We have at least 4 pairs hanging around and they begin croaking at us at around 5.30 a.m. if there is no jelly waiting for them! I just love to watch them fly around the woodland - their flash of orange and black is so beautiful against the green.
Isn't she so pretty? I think so. I'll be back tomorrow with another card and photograph. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee
