Wild Thing for Try Stamping on Tuesday
10 May 2016
Hi Everyone. Happy Tuesday
I saw this great sketch across at Try Stampin on Tuesday and decided to have some fun with it.
Isn't he fabulous? Want to hear his call? Want to know more about him? You can check out details of this member of the Kingfisher family at this link. Thanks Jeanette for sending along this photo and we all hope that you will share more :-)
On a personal note:
OK... so... what happened to Spring. It was 91 degrees on Friday and 45 today! It's cold, wet, windy and rainy. I know 91 was out of the ordinary - but it was glorious. I am just not sure how I feel about 45 again!
We have lots going on around the house this week including the electrician to come and put in some more lights around the house, add a couple of electrical outlets and hang a new light over the dining room table. (We are VERY excited about that! I'll share some photos with you once it is up!) In addition we have the landscapers coming to put in the new shrubs and even more trees on Thursday. We are also excited about that! All of the shrubs will provide shelter for the warblers and other smaller birds as well as providing food for all the birds. They are all fruit producing shrubs so will be great for the pollinators in summer and provide food for the fruit eaters over fall and winter.
I'll be back with another card - and some more photos for you tomorrow. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight.
Hugs
Jaydee

I love your card! It literally made me laugh out loud! The expression is priceless. I so enjoy your photos too. I know exactly what you mean about weather it was in high 60's to low 70's and woke up to more than 3" of snow today! I really enjoy your cards &I the photos of wildlife as well as photos of your wetlands.

I love, love, love this card. He is absolutely the cutest. Great composition. We have moved to our new condo from 7 acres on the water and all the boxes have been emptied. Now to get organized. We love it so far.

This card is so fun, Jaydee!! I wouldn't have known it was an emu, but he sure is cute popping his head up on the corners of the card. :) Thanks for sharing it with us at Try Stampin' or Not on Tuesday.

What a cute card. A card that will bring a smile to anyone and everyone. You always manage to come up with the cutest cards using that Emu stamp.
Jeanette; thank you for sharing your lovely bird photo.
Yesterday we got up to 91deg. with thunderstorms in the evening. It's 83 deg. at the moment and due for more storms once again this evening and into the early morning hours.
Basically we can expect storms off and on throughout the week and into the beginning of next week.
Have a wonderful and enjoyable evening.

Fabulous card Jaydee, I live in Australia with the kookaburras, we used to hand feed them at our last home. That emu is a hoot and the sentiment too, cheers Robyn

Cute Wild Thing, he is a funny guy!
Also Jeanette, for sharing your photo. You must make good Bar-B-Que. His beak is red.
