Hi Everyone.
Happy Sunday.
It's the fabulous Joanne's turn to host our Paper Players challenge this week and she has a great sketch for us:
I was initially tempted to use some DSP as the vertical element, but decided to do some stenciling instead. Then, I needed some color inspiration and found that at Just Add Ink
I began with the Tim Holtz wildflower, which I colored with Pear Pizazz and a mixture of the two pinks. I colored them very lightly to give a soft background. I then diecut a stitched square and stamped the IndigoBlu Big Bold Butterfly onto the square, focusing on the middle of the butterfly. I colored the butterfly with the green, yellow and pinks. I then finished it off with some Wink of Stella to give it some shimmer and shine!
I mounted the square on fun foam and then placed it onto the card at a 90 degree angle. All that was left was to add the sentiment.
If you are looking for some inspiration - just check out the fabulous cards from our design team:
On a personal note:
Off to spend some time in my crafting space and hoping I can make a few cards today, so - hopefully - I should have some cards to share with you this week. I'm also going to take a walk around the garden to see what I can photograph!
I'll be back tomorrow with another card and some photos. In the meantime, warm hugs and prayers for those of you who need a little lift tonight. HJ - thank includes you. I hope your tennis elbow heals soon. That's painful!
Hugs
Jaydee
